Chase " the choker" Sexton, best laugh I've had all day.
I have been a Tomac fan from day 1 so I have no sympathy for Sexton fans.
To be fair he implodes even when he's out front by him self
Do any other top guys stall their bike as often as Sexton? I feel like it’s been a thing with him for as long as he’s been on a 450.

I love Chase and want him to fix this, but have to respect Barcia for blasting past him in the last corner.

I want to know how or why he stalls it so much? I’ve never seen a pro racer stall as much in their whole careers and chase has since he switched to KTM

Would've done what if he passed Webb, hurt Webb's motivation or confidence? If you have watched Webb's career that wouldn't have happened, he responds and comes back more determined and stronger. No, it was a dumb ass move, amongst many dumb ass moves.
The pressure of not giving coop 2 wins on the night. He knows coop is an animal and he was afraid that if he settled for second that would give coop a huge confidence boost going fwd. If there was no pressure he would have just settled for second and took the overall. He knows how dangerous it is tho to let coop get 2 wins so he tried to force the issue and it bit him. The funny part is that by todsing it away and giving coop the win he gave coop even more confidence.
Riding style and bike setup. He doesn't have a finger on the clutch as much as others.
That combined with aggressive clutch settings make it easy to stall. I had to back of my clutch setting when I threw in Torque drive clutch pack in my KTM. To little margin for how it engage. Stalled it 1-2 times every session. But had killer power to the rear wheel, felt like zero slipping.
My exact thoughts last night! The 19yr old kid, who is the king of sending it, knew to back it back it down cause he had the win. Meanwhile the guy in the big boy class throws it away. I've never had a rider frustrate me so much, that I'm a fan of. I might have to turn in my Section fanclub card. I was so disgusted I turned off the race before the podium interviews.
Chase's pressure is all internal. This has nothing to do with Webb.
Exactly. RJ, McAddo, Jordon is just a much much worse version of the same. Exactly same. They can go fast because they ignore/don't think about a how the track is or how other riders position themselves on the track. It's DGAF.
As RJ said himself, "I ride like I always have 100% traction for the front tire". It will bite you from time to time.
Wasn't a mental collapse, even if they themselves could call it that. It's part of their riding style.
Bike tucked when he landed and he lost control and went into the back wheel of lapper. Should he have backed of 1 sec and double single/double double, yes. But that's not a mental collapse. That's poor race crate. End of story.
I’d argue that this same motivation also points to Webb’s main weakness: he gets pissed when people doubt hin because he harbors amsome insecurities about being fast enough to beat the top dogs. To his credit, he seems to be going faster than ever this year, but if people “counting him out” gives him motivation, getting run down and beaten will always sting.
He went on a podcast and talked about it I’m 99% sure it was gypsey tales. Jase asked him about the stall he had while leading at anaheim 1. This was where chase came around the inside of the turn and over that roller at the exit and stalled it right at the peak of the roller. Jase asked him if he uses the clutch in a situation like that and chase said he does not and that its a bad habit but its how hes used to riding. The stall last night was basically a carbon copy of that stall…inside turn with a roller on the exit and he stalled at the top.
So apparently hes killing the bike by trying to lug it through the inside rut which is all and good but when it hits the roller at the exit the load on the engine suddenly spikes and kills the engine. He doesnt blip the clutch like tomac or most other riders do so it stalls out. It will work most of the time, so that gives him a false confidence that hes got that part under control, but that 1 time it doesnt is when you get screwed. For him it ends up being mid race when hes leading, he loses focus for a split second and doesnt hit it perfect that 1 time. Time to make an adjustment, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. How many times is the exact same thing going to happen? It used to be tucking the front while leading now its stalling while leading. Clean it up!
Such a fine line between hero and zero.
If Harrison hadn't been up on the high line, Sexton wouldn't have been just that one line lower that put him into Webb's wheel.
But...
It's not like he didn't see that coming, and knowing Webb's tactic of cutting low in the corners.
After last week's amazing ride through the field, he might have been feeling invincible, and able to make a huge statement to Webb.
But instead...

Sexdawg was going down regardless. He tucked the front and the bike spit him off. You could argue he wouldn't have been so erratic I without the traffic, but the crash was in motion well before he contacted webbs wheel.
So, technically Sexton continues the trend of tucking the front. This time, just into a berm and into a high side.
