He has to be smarter than that. Its press day. Any serious title contender has to be smarter than to crash on press day and they damn sure shouldn't chose to injure their arm.

Agreed. In the 80s and 90s, riders didn't get hurt at nearly the rate they do today. We need to quit blaming supercross as a series,there is a lot more to it than that.
I hope he's just playing games and trying to knock people off their game. Getting other riders thinking he's hurt and then having a strong ride. I'm not really a Webb fan, but I hate seeing anybody hurt. Crazy how many top guys have already gotten hurt and are out.
It really looked like he could be hurt or think he might have been hurt. The way he picked the bike up and left the track right away, and rode off right away. I hope I am wrong. I think he will try and race even if injured, unless it is a clearly impossible to ride with injury.

Nobody puts their right hand on the left bar while their left hand is dangling to pick up the bike. He did put his left hand back on the bike immediately once it was up which is a good sign. Also indicates to me that the arm was already bothering him and he's just been dealing with it.
