Kx 500, fuel injection, Kx450 frame, maybe Orange or Orange and Green = cool new/old kid on the block.
You just proved my point, sherco and beta have been making 300s for multiple generations and the current ones are pretty good now. First couple generations not so much.
Username checks out 🧐. This has been one of my favorite fantasies as well; it could serve the off-road / trail riding segment just as well as the EVO race series; the 420 desgination would compell everyone who has ever inhaled & kicked over a dirtbike to be obligated to buy one. This is the model that would have me speaking with my wallet, and rolling a spliff on my way to & from the dealer. 😂
How much money are you willing to part with ?

you have never been to a GNCC have you? I already know the answer. The bike I am seeing a lot of lately at GNCC's, and local XC/hare scrambles is the yz250fx
I want a 2 smoke and that 300kxf someone posted about a while ago
I'm on that bet as well.
If I go into the woods around here (on my new KX-X) I'm going to give it a few minutes before I run into a bunch of old men (so am I) on new KTMs and Betas, most of which have another 1-2MY older KTM or Beta at home in a different flavor. About half of them are some kind of Erzberg, Race Edition, etc.
My local dealers move about the same amount of MX bikes every year to the local pros that need a new contingency bike, if they get extra MX bikes they trickle out. The off road models move almost immediately, the more specialized (IE a 300 2 stroke vs a CRF450 with a kickstand) the faster they are gone.
330cc-350cc 2-stroke in the 250 chassis with tweaks. Open bike power when needed but far more manageable.
12 pages and all we have is a 15 second reveal of nothing. Good times.
Been waiting a long time to buy another new KX smoker.
Was there a time frame mentioned in terms of an actual release of details?
No idea what their nomenclature will be, but a KX125SRT and a KX300SRT followed a year or 2 later by a KDX220R would change the world!!!
If they go with a 125 and 300 they won't have to bring back the F.
😂😂😂
Now this is interesting!

Doesn't Kawasaki have a 2 stroke reveal in Europe this past year? EIMCA show or something?
Let those good times roll...
Pit Row
It better be a 125 it’s the biggest class 24-28 some tracks 34. Usually a bigger class than 250c. 2-st class is about the same sometimes bigger. These riders race both classes. Thses 125 riders r traveling long distances too for tracks that hv big gates. So there’s a number of riders from different states . It’s easily the biggest thing in Mx , who is the fastest 125 riders r traveling in America. The 250f frame with a 125 engine is a proven winner in 235 emx. koehrn miss miss spelled & his Tiny team mate . Absolutely Rip on the bike. Who is this #18 ? Whoa is he fast . Should be a America, Canada yes there’s 125 riders that fly up there vs The 125 EMx riders. Plus Ozzy riders a 125. Haha![]()

The reveal was that Kawi’s releasing a big-bore two-stroke again.
Studios drop teasers and trailers for movies all the time and people get hyped over them… meanwhile Kawi, at the dawn of the new electric era, announces they’re fuckin’ bringing two-strokes back and moto fans get upset that the bike didn’t get revealed and put on showroom floors the same day.
Did you get the impression I was upset?
A little, yeah.
But I guess I’m really thinking of the ones that were posting in the qualifying thread once the teaser was shown on RDL upset that it was just the same teaser from IG… It’s just weird to be more upset about the lack of specs on a bike you didn’t even know existed until yesterday morning, than to be excited that the bike is soon to exist in the first place.
150 and 300 with a 18” wheel/big tank kit available. Injection and e-start, 6 speed.
That’s what Kaw would do if it was up to me, but they haven’t called yet…
I am not mad at all, just think it's funny we are up to 15 pages and nobody knows anything. The Mirtle thread is even more interesting. I think it shows how much we like to speculate and just openly chat/debate. In a way it's cool I guess.
Hopefully Kawi remembers that 125 riders buy 2 bikes . 1 practice 1 race bike. 125 jr only take Monday off of riding. And some other 125 riders. They should link them up with discounts on air filter, oil, tire & part discounts when you purchase a bike. Then you would Really see an Explosion of racing. Instead of 24-28 & bigger gates of 34 . 200 125,s show up to race . And 125 A class has to be brought back & full gates of ovr 40 will b there. Along with 125b & 4-5 full gates of 125c . Everyone misses the 125 c Action of Massive crashes of riders just going for it. Kawi is big enough to link a deal with Maxima for a 35% off & other stuff. They would make the money back on part sales. National wide PC , Budd racing amateur programs for local racing.
There is definitely a gap in their line-up between the mini's and a 250F
Ah, guess I misread the tone of your post a little bit then, that’s my bad. I’ll blame that on my two-year-old who’s going through a sleep regression right now… I think I just need more coffee before posting, lol
I bought (and still own) two 2005 KX250 and one 2006 KX250 2 strokes new in '05 & '06 respectively. I then waited, and waited and waited. Finally, after 16 years I broke down and bought another new bike. A '22 KX250 four stroke. I think of how much money lost to the other brands that kept 2 strokes alive, and how many more bikes in those 16 years Kawasaki could have sold to me. I stayed "green" but sometimes question my own loyalty
Injection so it runs like garbage & blows up like a Ktm. 150 can not race the 125 class. I don’t think a 2mm ovr bore can either a 132. 125 riders r traveling 300-600 mi to race d16 in Wi. And other states. A Cal. 125 rider raced all ovr the country at the big 125 races. A 500k points fund should b put together. A 6- 7 lapper at the Nationals. No age limit
