Agreed JT kills it, RC is always luke warm, has the smallest vocabulary and intillect of the whole broadcast crew. It's like his brain doesn't work fast enough or complex enough to do the job. He was my childhood hero to, love the guy but just being honest. Hopefully we're not stuck with him all season. 

The people want Weege and Daniel Blair in the booth. 

That's why RC got Blair booted because he knew Blair is head and shoulders better than himself. 

JT is a corporate dream. Says absolutely nothing but without a stutter or a flinch.

I feel embarrassed for him sometimes to the point where I want to mute it but I want to hear weege, the bike and crowd noise too. I think what Blair said to Matthes on their show is correct. RC and Leigh or whoever should be desk guys in suits doing a pre show and a post show - he shouldn't call the live action. He should be the face with the credentials at the top of the broadcast that greets you and sees you out

Because of this thread JT just recieved a calendar invite for a meeting with an NBC executive to "discuss his career".

Vital loves RC the racer. The announcer, not so much

RC is better when he's not calling the action. He does way better in the segments before and after the racing. If you watch JT in MXGP you'll see calling the action is much harder. I'll still agree JT is doing a killer job and  continues to improve. I hope they keep JT around because his analysis is good.

I’d say Weege, JT etc feel like Bidens minders toward the end- constantly steering him away from embarrassing situations and serving it up on a platter

Yeah that was bad. 30secs earlier JTs analysis/observation was that Cooper was losing time in the whoops. RC says the opposite and next thing Ando passes him in the whoops 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I personally don't mind RC when he's got time to think and talk at length like when he's been on pulp or title24? I actually think he's quite well spoken. But I think the quick live action he struggles to keep up. Some people just aren't suited to it

I do have to say, he’s loosened his grip on the Lawrence’s this season. 

The racing this season has been spectacular. The broadcast will always suck unfortunately until people are shit canned, which seems unlikely. It does really seem like RC has someone at NBC in his pocket because at this point he really adds nothing to the show but the same tag lines and complete butchering of the English language. I’m still hopeful they will someday offer a package with race coverage with bike and crowd sounds only so it’d be like you’re there minus the $500 seats, $50 parking, $20 beer, $15 hot dog and drunk idiots behind you.
