Looking at T&S it appeared he was out early in the heat and then a DNS for the LCQ but I never heard why.

Saw the crash but didn't realize that was the issue since he lined up for the heat and then went straight to the back. Thought maybe he went down off the start or had a mechanical.

Dude stood up for over an hour signing autographs with a broken rib over in his pit area! I was the last one to talk to him. Didn't realize he had a broken rib until he told us. Said he was going to roll of the gate so he could get paid. Different degree of Beast Mode!

That’s just fucked on the part of sx or smx or ama or whatever feld and the circus is called. He should have got paid for making it and they should fill the gate if the rider can’t or won’t line up. I understand why it makes total financial sense for him but then were out one more rider for the heat lcq and possibly main.
The person who missed out shoulda went and spoke to him if he knew and paid him the purse money to step out in order to get into the night show…

That guy was me lol. Varize beat me by 7 thousandths of a second for 40th. A1 I qualified easy but while I rode well at SD I never got a clean lap.
Some Privateer guys that have good sponsors and are good to their sponsors have even night show bonuses, so good chance Billy is one of those guys and was going to make more than just purse money to roll around one lap.
I don’t blame him as I’ve done that probably 3 or 4 times to get paid. He qualified so he deserved to get paid.
