I believe Troy was able to buy it back.
Troy has always owned the team, he bought back Troy Lee Designs.
BINGO
TLD rules. It's about the only brand I've owned since getting some stuff at the Chaparral parking lot sale circa '98/99. I did manage to avoid the polka dot phase though. Just bought two mtn bike tees and socks last week. Keep it rolling Troy Lee.

That is the old tld trailer not a Ganassi trailer
SRAM, mountain bike stuff?
Atari?
😎
I think the question is: why is Ganassi listed as a sponsor and how are they helping?
Hmmmmmmno.
Just a long list of sponsors and no design at all.
Chip and Troy are buds.
I'm guessing its a mobile billboard to give Ducati some hype in the pits. With currently fictional sponsors (unless they announce their future deal)
That trailer is horn dog - if they pull out a Ducati 250 with tld spec full race design graphics / fluorescent plastics it would steal the show.
*or if Barcia is pitted out of there on a Ducati 450
It’s similar to what Triumph did at the LA SMX finale.
The way corporate branding works, TLD can't use those companies' logos unless they're tied to the team somehow. If they were just going with space filler, then they'd have to go with true "fictional sponsors" (i.e., made up companies).
I'm sure if Troy is friends with all those companies they can draw up a 1 off promo agreement where the companies provide nothing but their logo for a 1 weekend Folly
At the LA final, the production Triumph 250 was rolled out to the public and even had them taking laps with RC and 6 Time…. If Ducati has a 450 there and Cairoli to take a few casual laps on it? They steal the entire fucking show!!!
Excuse me that would be 6 time….
And that front fender….at least for mud races. Don’t want to carry around an extra 10 pounds of mud…
Now I understand your terrible takes, you're obviously blind.
Pit Row
Yessir! Fat finger on an iPhone and no proof read. Thats on me…. Edited.
FYI, whatever you tried posting is showing up blank.
Going to be an awesome looking program.
Any one think they will go after Sexton? The questionable status of KTM and a new rather large manufacturer like Ducati could dangle a big carrot in front of him and maby he bites
No matter how many zeros are on the check, a first gen MX bike is a pretty big check mark in the Con column.
Announcement tomorrow at 3:30PM.

As you said "Tony's GP BIke", well, it would be the Larger, bare Aluminium tank they made for his usage in the Dutch GP.
Dutch GPs are famous for having some rather awkward tanks being used, to get through the Sand Motos (mind you, things area bit easier in the 30 +2 age, than the 40 + 2 fuel thirsty 500 2T era) :
A man of few words, I see. 😎
While in theory getting a championship contender to ride a first year bike sounds great, it's not a great idea. If say a legit championship threat signs and then struggles, Ducati gets all the bad publicity as the public will point to the past and say "see, that bike sucks. Look how bad rider x is doing now". Beta is a good example, and they weren't even close to hiring a contender.
Hire a Roczen or an Anderson type with a solid top 20 guy as a second/development rider and it's pretty much all upside as long as the bike isn't a complete turd.
I understand the new bike hype around the Ducati. Does anyone have any experience with their current bikes reliability wise? My past experiences with them made me laugh when I heard they were building a motocross bike. Hopefully things have changed for the better.
