Considering getting VIP tickets and attending the MXoN at Ironman. For those who have been there, is it worth it to attend? I’ve never been, so thanks in advance for any input!

Ironman is spectator friendly....plenty of shade and easy to move around. Whatever you choose do it's gonna be good...especially being the MXoNs.

Just an FYI...all of the hotels in Crawfordsville are already booked up.  I had to get mine closer to Indy.

Since we're on the subject , there's and NEPG round the Day before (they moved it to Saturday due to MXON ) , will the event sell out? Was gonna head over after NEPG and just sleep in my van , think I'd need tickets before hand ?

It's not the best spectator track IMO. It's hard to move around when it's packed. Red Budd sets the bar high, But it's MXDN, so I'll be there.

Yeah I don't have a true perspective on how spectator friendly it is. I went in 2020 when they had the abbreviated covid schedule. It wasn't packed and it was easy to move around. I'll just say it the MXdN and it will be amazing no matter what. I'll be there too, for sure

I have to agree a little bit on this, but I think it’d be better if I got there a little earlier in the morning. The 2 nationals I’ve been to there always got a late start thanks to GF and daughter. 😝

It isn’t easy to move around as a spectator, but it is a beautiful track with a good amount of shade.  I promise, you won’t be disappointed if you attend.  The track is really nice.  Really fast, but still technical.  When I ride there, I always feel so damn slow because I’ve seen how fast the heros can get around the track.

As others have said, when packed it is a little harder to move around but is a great track to see in person. I would recommend going if you can. Lots of shade, good views and great track layout for racing. Get there early as others have said and it IS MXoN which makes it sooo worth it !!!!

I can’t believe how expensive everything is. And prices go up 2/1 it says. Some camping is already sold out. Someone said they flew to England amd got vip tickets and watched the race cheaper than they can attend it here in the US.

I had just replaced my knee and I think I paid $1000 for the top VIP at Red Bud that had best access for handicapped and that same level VIP looks like its $2500 now.

Will say for that much $$$$ I was extremely disappointed on the quality of the food.

We have been to the last 2 MxdN at Red Bud.  Great times, we got the VIP the first time and it was totally worth it however.  They raised the price so high for 2022 it would have been a total butt raping so we didn't.  It was so high would not have been worth it.  The race itself is awesome.

I just checked prices and confirmed yes, total butt raping for VIP.

Get food b4 you get into the area . I went from Leroy,iL. To Columbus today. I stopped at 5 flying j & pilots no cold or hot food to grab & go.  Tiny bit of snow on the ground there now.

I've been to Ironman three times and have never had a problem.moving around. With that said, the MXoN's will be wild. The place will be packed to the hilt.

I'd rent a RV with mates and park at the track if that's still an option.

Ironman track layout is good, maybe even great, it could make for some epic racing for MXON.

It's a condensed area for spectating though, not nearly as sprawling as Matterly or Red Bud.

Think Ernee but with beef manhattan not boeuf bourguignon.

Red Bud is a shitty spectator track, not sure why everyone thinks it as so great. Dilla and Budds blow it out of the water in that aspect.

Our vip seating at Red Bud was at the top of the hill between Loraccos leap and the main track so viewing was great in both directions. It also included the pits and the elevated area behind the starting line at starts.

DO NOT compare MXSports VIP to MXoN VIP areas they are two completely different animals!

Thank God someone said it. I never got all the hype. Budds is the best spectator track by a mile

You can't get there early enough on race day. You can sit in line out on the road for hours and miss half of the days program.

I booked a cabin south of Crawfordsville a few months ago, there wasn’t much available as far as hotel rooms in the surrounding area when I looked. Been to both red bud MXONs and Ironman twice. Ironman is hilly and difficult to get around if it rains a lot, otherwise a sweet track. Never bought the vip tickets but I’d say do it! You won’t regret it, I enjoyed every minute rain or shine.

I do agree Red Bud isn't great not nearly as good as Millville.

2023 went to Ernee MXdN paid 750.00 € each for the gold tickets. Well worth the price

2024 Went to Matterley basin MXdN paid 900.00 € for diamond tickets.well worth it again

2025 going to Ironman staying in a apartment in Attica

MXdN is so much bigger, louder than a AMA national, kinda makes a national look like a amature regional weekend.

So for my 3 with travel, hotel, food, and top level tickets it’s a $10,000+ trip. That’s 1/2 a season worth of gate/race fees and race fuel for OUR racing. Hell no.

Motel rooms try Brownsburg In. area. About 40mi.east from Crawfordsville. Also Indianapolis International Airport about 55mi.southeast from track would be a good choice. Lot of Hotel choices there.

Well the VIP  tickets are gold $1800.00 each and diamond $2500.00 each

I’m guessing that’s in US funds.

How the fuck can the be justified last yr was 2400.00 cdn funds with exchange rate from euro for 2 people at 900 euro each or 925 USD

If the retarted price is to pay for Deagan to make a grand arrival just to have his ass handed to him……well fuck it not paying that price of admission

Paid $750.00 in 2018 for VIP at Red Bud.  I had to talk myself into spending that much.  At $2500.00, just talked myself into not going at all.

Looks like a MXoN party in my back yard for 2025.
