I don't get what the big deal is with both just releasing a lock on grip and also why it's a big deal if they were talking about it on the show. Renthal is pretty core to the sport, if they want to promote it there then why not. I thought it was gonna be something really cool with the build up and then it's just lock on grips. Ok big deal.

Every thread with Pulp you post this , I really don't get it
I listen to a lot of podcasts but the PulpMX show and Racer X Race Review show reign supreme in my eyes.
Best part of the Pulp show is often the last hour or so when there are no guests and the co-hosts are just chatting about random topics.

I went to lock on grips when pro taper came out with the pillow top version, and I'm not going back to glue ever! Except on my wife's ttr, none of the damn throttle cams work on it 😑.
The Racer X Review show is still my favourite but the fact Weege and JT literally work for all the organisations involved in SX and MX make their ability to be truly critical questionable.

I consider the fact that 2 of the guys I most liked listening to comment on MX/SX working on the production of both series a huge W. It's not a big deal if they don't always publicly say the most critical things, I know their heads and hearts are in the right place with the direction of the sport because they've already told me their thoughts on it for the last decade.
I'm about an hour and a half in now.
You listened to the whole Mitch Payton segment and still thought you needed to complain about the content?
That half hour alone is worth the price of admission.
I guess I just have a good eye for spotting clowns.

Matthes: Warning, this show will basically be a Renthal ad. In studio is a guy who is one of the marketing leads for Renthal. We'll have Mitch Payton on (has used Renthal on his team exclusively), and also Jeremy McGrath, who used Renthal for his entire career except one year. His mechanic will also be on. They'll talk about a lot of things that aren't Renthal related as well.
I understand not liking the show, or Steve, or the ads, but to bitch about a free show you aren't forced to watch or listen to is insanity.
I listen every week. Make no sense to me to bitch about free content.
Considering their job I think they do a pretty good job being critical and as respectful as possible at the same time. JT still takes heat from riders every now and again. Weege manages to skirt the line perfectly.
As for Pulp, I think it’s pretty good content and some of the best we have for moto. If the segment is stupid or I don’t like the guest, I just skip it.
Thought it was interesting hearing about the majority of bars are all coming from 1 of 2 manufacturing plants, with Renthal being the exception. Cool Keefer is getting a tour of the facility and manufacturing processes.
Hearing MC is a blessing and with Skip there hear his take on everything is an instant time travel back to my favorite MX time. Thanks Steve!
I’m a Matthes convert. For years I wasn’t a fan, but he’s won me over. If I could change anything, it’d be the mid-show commercials- I don’t need to listen to the exact same Michelin advert twice in five minutes! I’d rather 2x commercial breaks rather than one break with duplicated adverts.
This weeks segment with Mitch was great! The British Renthal guys were both boring as f*ck. (I’m British btw…) Parabenos was cool.
It’s a funny ole world- sometimes you just ‘click’ with a guest and could listen to him all day. Other times a guests voice turns me right off the entire show.
One other change I could ask for- MORE PHIL!!

If the show went away we would have a 10 page spread on how it needs to return and shame on Steve for quitting. No satisfying most people these days .

Quite a bit of moto media wouldn't have as much to report on either as a lot of them just report scoops that Steve gets.

If you like hamburgers and I do not and I state that to you, I am not complaining about hamburgers nor bitching about them. I am simply stating an opinion or preference. Even if the hamburger was free, and I still disliked hamburgers, we would still simply have a different preference or opinion. It is alarming as the way we can communicate increases, so does the lack of understanding one another. Further proving whenever anything is in excess, the need for ways or means to get it diminshes.
