I ride a Honda, flanged hex heads!

CPR wrote:

Ummm the torx bolts in the photo you posted are also flanged hex heads…..

Good catch, KTM uses torx bolts with flanged hex heads which is OK and torx bolts with circular exterior, they are the ones that become unusable if the bike is ridden in mud, especially when the soil is clay.

You do love your YouTube generalizations that are not based on anything...The 10 or so times I've been to your country I find the majority of the people pretty friggin cool and fun...but if I just based my opinion of Aussies on how they are on vital you would think they are a bunch of asshats....see how generalization works...

Jesus Christ why does every post on this board require picking a side and a fight to the death with you?

Had you even considered he was having a bit of fun and making a joke?

You should try taking that pole out of your ass and getting a sense of humor.

I think your generalization that all Aussies on Vital are asshats is because you see the AU location and see "Jett fan"...who you seem to treat as your mortal enemies.

Might have to do with every thread in the solar system turns into Jett is the greatest.

Not a single person on the planet would argue against Jett being the best. Try and keep it classy.

Hearing now that the lawrences are having a hard time with the frame on the new crf and seeing how basically everyone hates the new ktm… it brings back up the same question Ive had forever. Why do these companies always feel the need to make massive changes to platforms that are working great? Before the most recent redesign ktm had been doing years and years of smart refinement to the platform. Every year they were tweaking a little here, shaving a little there, adjusting a couple mm here. Then when all of it has really truly paid off and their bike is at absolute peak form they tear up everything, throw it in the trash, and introduce a whole new frame.

It seems like these brands are changing things just to say they changed things. Its biting them in the ass though. Keefer just showed a few months ago that most ppl actually like the 07 crf the best. Maybe they should only be changing the things that need to be changed like making more power. If the public demands a refresh they can always redesign the plastics. Think of how much it costs ktm to redesign everything for the new bike. They have to change the entire production line. All of that money lost to end up with a worse bike. Maybe just like the phone upgrade yearly cycle no longer makes sense the needing the brands to completely change everything every few years makes no sense. This obviously isnt the reason why ktm is going bankrupt, but theyre going to have to fix a lot of problems and the production line is definitely going to be a part of that.

Yeah the efi electric start 125 is a perfect example of ovr doing it. A soon to be 21 yr old cr125 rapes  a 2025 125...

Yeah the efi electric start 125 is a perfect example of ovr doing it. A soon to be 21 yr old cr125 rapes  a 2025 125 Ktm . And handling is light yrs ahead of it.  Probably why they sell for more that a 4 yr old 250f.

You really should’ve stopped after the first sentence

Only Allen head on my Honda is on the brake pedal. Inside of the pedal is a special slick washer& a rubber o ring on the inside of the bolt for the pedal. Honda quality and details 2nd to none. How many 98 Ktm,s do you see at the track ?  All kinds of 90,s Hondas . If I,m spending my money I want the best quality built bike.

gerg - Lungbutter jumped in to this  ... as he was one of the vitards that attacked me in another thread. He gets his jolly's attacking others. I suspect their are many others he has attacked. Not just here.  I can only imagine how much joy in his daily life he brings (NOT) to the people around him.

He was easy to flush out. Came out of the hole he's in very quickly to take a shot at someone else. He's probably sitting in a chair in front of a TV planning his next attack... maybe me... maybe someone else. Just a wonderful and joyous human.

LOL.

Quit making shit up.

I never attacked you, I probably made a couple jokes while you were completely losing your shit, but I never attacked you.

Don't take this shit so serious dawg, it's just banter, you don't need to value your life on VitalMX.

Maybe go polish your knob and relieve some stress?

LOL... that was good. Thanks.

I commented in a thread not to long ago and was attacked. There are idiots everywhere on this site. All they need is some internet access and a keyboard of some sort and the mindless Clueless  attacks start. To accomplish what? Make themselves feel important? Certainly one does not have to attack someone to share and opinion. That sentence probably flew over 60% of the readers. I also wanted to say uneducated mindless and clueless.. but formal education doesn't make you smart.

Don't pay attention to everyone MxAddic. Keep on keeping on.

And if it goes to zero (and I've had stocks do that.. can you say global crossing?) you can revive the thread and say "how did the investment work out?" &nbspWink

Depends on what you are polishing LungButter? Is it a bong? The answer is no imo - if that is what you want to polish to improve KTM AG performance. In my opinion it won't improve performance for the KTM AG group. You personally - imo a polished bong may... could make you more likeable.  Improve your social skills. For a short time. I do have my doubts but there is a shot! Maybe you should take it? Your call.

Btw.... Did you try it? Try polishing the intake of a 2 stroke? Or are you just a arm chair qtr back? One of the vitards that would attack MxAddic - and anyone else to make yourself feel... something -  without doing any research, or building anything... just sitting on your couch ... beer in hand. Mess in front of you. Irked at the world from you day working at.. Sorry..... Do you have a job?

That was actually a pretty funny dig by LB, maybe lighten up and learn to laugh at yourself a little?

By the way my recollection of that thread is you were in a meltdown and took it to a pretty disrespectful level with some of your moto colleagues. A lot of projection and hypocrisy happening here.

Explains why I found a new leftover TC65 marked down from $5600 to $3200. I think it's insane a new mini costs over 6k OTD. 🤯

It seems a lot like 2007-2008. Money was cheap and lots of companies built extravagant manufacturing facilities that they soon could not afford.  Eliminator Boats is a great example of that. Hopefully they can get their shit sorted.

Probably none but his button on his phone for speed dial. Is wore off from calling Honda. But I heard he has a old rotor dial phone  in the barn in iL you know the phone u put a finger in the plastic hole then spin it to the rt until it stops.  He has a bad blister from it. That’s why he took a little time off.

Holding down a job? Viewing shock dyno's? And telling the world you know all about suspension? You never responded to my questions.... I know.. it's hard when you get called on being over your skis! LMAO.

I usually refrain from feeding the trolls but you talk a big game so here's a couple questions for you: do you make motorcycles for a living? Do you race them in various AMA championships? Because if you don't, you're most definitely the armchair expert compared to JM.

For anyone wondering what has PTsox so worked up and bitter here...this is the old thread he's referring to where he felt folks here were ganging up on him.  To me, PTshox came across as quite arrogant and condescending.  His shenanigans are worth looking at if missed the first time...
