title will get more attention if it’mentions they’re racing quads. many won’t know what Ironman is.

personally I can’t wait to see this.

Idk but when i was out there i was like “who’s this kid on a 125 behind me that won’t let tf off?” - 5 seconds before villopoto was railing ruts in the field section around me and gone.

I am sure some people do, but I really can't give a single solitary shit about quad racing. I own one, haul firewood, aerate lawns with it, whatever. Good for you if you can have fun on one, but to me just another Cub Cadet, but yeah if you can have fun on one good for you. I suppose they keep a lot of bike dealers open.

It is awesome seeing moto guys give the GNCC’s a shot. Looks like Musquin was running 3rd in his class after 1 lap but then DNF’d. I hope we see more guys race some offroad events.

Quad racing is actively dying so let’s shit on it while it’s on its death bed. Everyone knows it sucks and is gay.

The chicks that race these events are gnarly. They would pass me like I was sitting still.

Yep. There are some fast guys in that class. The top 5 overall in the morning race are probably pretty similar speed as the top 50-70 overall in the afternoon race.

I’m sure I’ll catch some shit for this but I’ve also got a quad. Doesn’t see any mx tracks but I absolutley love ripping it in the woods and doing some hill climbs. It’s for sure not for everyone. IMG 9923 0

Let's put aside the quad part for now; those things are hard to ride and scary to go fast on. The part about GNCC racing that freaks me out is the trees! There's no way I could race in those conditions without splitting my helmet open on a maple.

Trees are no joke! This is my leg last Sunday (I will spare you all the NSFW photos). 23 stitches inside and 30 outside.

I'm glad GNCC has a class where 2 men can just bro out riding nuts to butt together 2 up on their quad.  The only question I have is with a passenger where do you put your beer cooler? Did they have someone with a SXS haul it for them?

Good for Triston.  Local Ohio boy, I believe he's pretty much full privateer. Lapped me a few weeks back at a GP that was so dusty you couldn't see your own front fender. He was hauling ass despite that.

I’d imagine he’s a privateer if he’s racing the morning race. If he was fast enough to be a factory  rider he’d be racing in the afternoon.
