Why? Prado is leaving, Conen is leaving, Jett is barley older plus Deegan is younger then him. In Europe Herlings and crew are aging. He has a perfect path in Europe to win MXGP titles. The smart move is for him to stay.

Maybe he wants to race SX? After all that’s why the majority of top international riders go to the US.

Maybe he wants to get paid to race, not pay to race. Money to be made in MXGP but I presume SX and SMX will pay more bills

You can only get away with the Bullshit and greed for so long.

He could stay as a big fish but he will make less money than a top 15 450 rider here. There isn't a lot of money to earn in GPs and a lot of those riders still dream of SX

Lmao. You think Shane McElrath is making more than Jorge Prado?

I can't wait for him to come to the US and pick up SX.  He's insanely talented on a dirtbike, every bit as raw talented as Jett.  Future champion IMO.  I'll be rooting for him.  I'm stoked to watch him race in the US.  Can't wait!

The AMA series obviously pays more, BUT the base salaries the the manufactures pay the riders seems to be fairly close. Years ago Pit said Jeffery is on a level with Dungey. Lewis said in one of his podcasts that Gajsers Honda Contract is just under 3 Million a year plus endorsements and win bonuses, a title bonus if you win.

Anything to add to the competition over here.

No, hes not as talented as Jett. Few have the ability to do what Jett can, and Kay is not one of them. Sorry.

I remember the story Lewis told on either Pulp or his show with Kellen, earlier this season. Kay wants to come to the States to race so bad that it's all he talks about in his pit. So much so that someone had to pull him aside and tell him, you're starting to get on people's nerves with all this talk of going to the US. Bring him over!

On 250’s, I thought that was Lucas Coenen for awhile on Sunday. Was blazing fast until crash.

Same.

I love it when the best dudes step up from the Minor Leagues to the Major Leagues.

Maybe racing Gp’s isn’t really that fun compared to USA series.
If money being equal go where it’s fun to race / earn a living.

AMA MX/SX just dominated the MXoN with 5 out of the top 6 finishers riding their series....

The money, competition, less travel, and more exposure will continue to bring the best talent from around the world.

Hope Kay and others decide to keep coming over!

It seems to go in cycles. I agree It’s pretty clear the best talent is racing in the USA right now though.

Would that be on Husqvarna ? Do they have a 250 team next year?

I don’t know where de Wolf will land but yes Husqvarna has both Cochran and Hampshire next year. DiFrancesco will still be on a GasGas, but basically a Rockstar Husqvarna rider as well because he will fulfill the team's sponsor needs for another 250 rider once RJ moves up to 450s in the summer.

I miss the days of PC being a combination of US phenoms and MX2 champions. When is the last time PC had a cool international hire, Rattray?

Listen...If more top guys keep leaving GP's and come to America. The Mfg's will be taking their money to the US to pump into the teams. Making 7 rider teams all around..

If de Wolf decided to race in the US next year (and any current contract allowed for that), the PMG would find a KTM or Husky for him. Not because they would expect much next year, but for the future. The sooner he starts SX, the sooner he figures it out, which he would.

IF racing SX is what he wants to do, another year in MXGP is a lost year.

Tonus was the last one I think. Didn't work out too well.
They missed out on Ferrandis

Your post isn't going to age well.  Jett is fantastic, but just wait until you see KDW in the US.  Dude is fuckin sick on a dirtbike.  Screenshotting this one for the memory books
