I hope the boys all sit down to a nice dinner together and get copasetic. They definitely have work to do but if they just ride like they know how...the results will be there.  I couldn't be more proud.

Last year second place team had 34 points and third had 43. They both kept two finishes outside the top 10. The third place team qualified 10th.

Most of the guys that finished in front of the Americans today have raced this track many times and it was webb's first actual race on the 250.

Plenty of reason to think we'll see some improvement tomorrow. We're still in the hunt for podium.

They manage to get a team of 3 awesome riders who actually wanna be there and your only thoughts are that they will shit the bed. Cool story bro.

The drop score is an interesting part of the analysis in qualifying.  Need all 3 of your guys to put up a score on Sunday, and 2 of them to put up 2 scores.  A lot of teams qualified ahead of USA are going to have scores in the teens or worse with one of their riders.  Thats how USA gets a decent result…

There’s some really strong teams this year so I’m guessing the podium scores will lean on the smaller side but I think if all our guys stay consistent we can be around that 30 point mark which gives the US a solid shot at the podium. Excited for tomorrow regardless!

Spain, France & Oz are gonna make it a real challenge for the rest of us when it comes down to getting on the box. Solid scores by their “3rd” rider in just one moto seems to be the thing that it’s all going to come down to.

But, this is MXoN…anything can and does happen.

Yes, something like a 3-4-6-7-10 has a great shot of making the podium.  Webb getting a 10 in the second moto and AP a 7th in the 3rd moto is the challenge…

No matter what happens tomorrow, we have 3 guys who love their country and made a bunch of sacrifices to get there.  Whatever result they get is fine with me.  I’m proud of this years team.  They are up against the best the world has to offer.  Realistically they’re probably the 4th or 5th best team.

Who do you think will give their mx2 rider first gate pick in the first race. I think most teams will give it to the the mx2 guy in the first race.

Especially Spain!! That's a no brainer. Spain has a legit shot at this. Give the first spot to Olivia

USA & Australia may not change anything up come the first moto.   Get the best riders out front swiftly and hope the MX2 guys can make it through the first turn without carnage.

I feel like that has to be the strategy for USA. give tomac and ap best shot to put up a good number and take whatever webb can give you in his best effort.

No. Herlings didn't drop his lap times. Maybe check again.

I don’t have hero expectations from Webb. He’s on a bike that he hasn’t raced in 8 years.

We’re all just watching on tv man. No idea what goes on behind the scenes. It’s possible his settings were off a bit, not comfy, who knows. But if he wasn’t 100% comfy why ride over your head and wad it in a qualifying race?  Take what the circumstances give you and take what you can improve on for tomorrow when it actually counts.

I agree. But we all saw it over the summer too. His best results were based off good starts. He’s not a “start outside the top 10, make it on the podium” type racer. He can hold his positions well, he’s not good at gaining them.

Hate to say it, but Team USA flops at the MXoN it seems every year.  Hopefully, they up their game tomorrow.

Webb looked uncomfortable. Off balance in the ruts. Almost cross rutted a few times. Track isn't easy. I think he's doing just as good as anyone should expect. Tomac is riding the best of the 3. He actually has the pace in him to "win", I say that loosely. He's actually close in lap time to Prado and Gajser. AP was  3 seconds and Webb 5 seconds off pace. These numbers are loose but close.

Doesn't matter where they are from. You can appreciate one guy without putting another down. Whoever rides the best, should win.

For Team USA, that's a good take. But for a Spain, who has Prado and his sick start skills, I'd give it to the MX2 guy.

Same with the Aussies,Hunter gets good starts, give the first pick to Webster.  Webster can start well with a decent gate. He showed it in the Qualifying race, but then proceeded to make a silly mistake.

The race is obviously Jett vs Prado. I’m actually impressed with our guys. Not too shabby.

Flop? What exactly were you expecting from these 3? You are dumber than I thought. Go back to watching Deegs on youtube.

The results speak for themselves. Team USA has not performed up to standards. As Eli said, the goal is to win, and I'm sure even he is disappointed with his results today. As I said, hopefully they step ut up a bit tomorrow.

No points are awarded for Des nations Qualifying races. It's not the same as the MXGP series where the qualifying races give bonus points to the overall

2 out of the 3 American riders are basically just back from injuries . I'd say their speed is quite impressive compared against guys who only race outdoor tracks.

france looking very good,  when your drop result is a 3rd, its a good qualifying day

I see this as France's to lose. They are by far the strongest.  2nd and 3rd 4th, 5th Spain, Australia, Netherlands, far outside chance USA.

You reek of being a poser. Nothing tells me I've never raced before more than the stupid comment you just made.

Not everyone is as good as Larry Ward 😎

The USA guys are doing very well considering everything. It would be awesome if they made the podium, but with this field, 4th-6th is respectable imo. All these guys are quasar atm, especially on this track.

I am curious how were the starts for Tomac, Webb and Plesenger? They all had 24th gate picks so what were their positions out of the first turn?

As mentioned the weather will be a factor. If it’s dry that will help the USA 🇺🇸

If we don’t win I’ll be rooting for the home team the UK.🇬🇧

We won’t see some of these riders at MXdN again so I’m really enjoying this.

The USA hate here by people in third world countries is something else. They are fine.
