Belgium withdrawal from Mxdn

Fastest 250 rider from the GPs will not race a 250. Good thing he is not American. 

Terrible news - 

I was under the impression that Sacha was recovered from his training injury.   Belgium had three great riders lined up and were in contention for the podium.

Sucks.

It’s just a disgraceful decision. Whether he is racing a 450 next year or not, it’s still 2024. He finished 2nd in the MX2 world championship and is the form 250 rider, to not ride the bike you’ve been racing all year in this situation is a complete joke. 

There will be a massive amount of Belgian fans all paid up, ready to leave, this is an insult and a kick in the face to every single one of them. I don’t know who was advising him in this process, but he should find someone else

I'm surprised I made it here before the outrage and claims that Belgium should never be able to host a nations again for this inconceivable act. I'm sure that will start any minute.

Honestly, if this is allt hat is to the story and the second winningest team at this event has to pull out because he doesn't want to race a 250 for one extra week. Then yes, he should not be allowed to be on the team next year.

Solution has been found.

If only he had ridden for Star so they could have come up for a excuse for him that half of Vital would have bought.. 

And yes, a shitty move, and yes, i hope that they don’t ask him next year after a thing like this.

Honestly,  that first press release kind of forced his hand, calling him out specifically while listing his successful MX2 resume' this season, placing the decision squarely on his shoulders.

He may still not want to ride the 250, but it was wise to accept and save some face with the Belgian fans. Im sure he was already getting heat. 

Seems they might have jumped the gate with the first announcement. 
Definitely has to be more to the story though.

This is so weird to me by the way. Is the whole team going 450 next year then or was that his own descision? He would probably smoke everyone in the MX2 next year, grab that title before you go to the US imo.

The crazy thing is if he somehow ends up with the title he won't be able to race a 250 in the US.

Has he aged out why would he jump up without a title doesn't make any sense? If he goes to the 450s and wins because everybody has left he has to race 450 in the US still doesn't make any sense?

Kid been a little cocky lately since he started winning🤣👍❌. Shit move by him if true  .
