Massive respect for Eli stepping in last minute, although I’m not surprised, this man is a living legend. You boys in the USA are lucky to have him - will be rooting for the US to bring home the gold. Shame deegs didn’t sack up and get on board earlier but I’m sure coop will rise to the occasion; he was a beast on that star 250F outdoors, no reason he can’t do it again.
Great to hear. Bummed for Chase because I wanted to see him at the MXoN, but huge props to Tomac for stepping up last minute.
Eli’s on form now and a way better starter than Chase. I think their speed is a wash but those starts Eli can get will be critical as we can let Webb take the 1st pick and still have Eli rip a hole shot from the middle of the gate. I have this giving us a .69% better chance of winning now.

Props to Tomac for stepping up, but I don't think this is an upgrade for Team USA at all. A healthy Sexton is better than a healthy Tomac at this point. Tomac only gets selected because of an injury of a rider who is better than him and got chosen over him.

How long did it take for you to come up with this dumb statement? Where are you getting this is to be an upgrade? It was never between Tomac and Chase to begin with. It was AP and Tomac, but the nice guy that Tomac is, he let AP have the spot and right fully so. Now the opportunity is there for him and he took it.

Whoa, dude. It's an opinion, not a statement. Just my 2 cents. And as of yet, it IS between Sexton and Tomac, as one fills in for the other. No diss towards Tomac, just a fact that Sexton was the better rider the past weeks/months.
I don’t think we’re at a disadvantage in the rain, both AP and Cooper have done woods racing and Eli has beast mode!

Did you watch the 2nd moto at Ironman? ET3 kept pace with Sexton and AP for 2/3rd of the race and was around 3 seconds back the entire time until he apparently got winded. ET3 pretty much smoked Sexton 4 out of 5 SMX playoff moto's.
They are both super knarly riders and on any Sunday could potentially vie for FMOP.
Not trying to disrespect Sexton because he just won the championship - all I'm saying is Tomac is back and only going to get stronger

Normally its 3.
I think it goes in this order.
1: Jett (kids too perfect)
2: Tomac (close to Jett but not enough)
3: Herlings (right behind Tomac) (top 3 within 5 seconds)
4: Prado (can't stay with the top 3)
5: Gajser (him and Prado battle for 4th)
6: Romain (a notch off Prado and Gajser 15 seconds back)

I am sssuper psyched Tomac is going! …but I’m not letting my emotions to cloud reality. MXDN is basically an outdoor national. SMX is basically SX. I love Tomac….HUGE fan and I also live in Colorado. But have people forgot the MX series. Ended a month ago…..remember?? Sexton kicked ass. Tomac did show some speed but come on. Had Tomac done better in his first race back he would have taken it instead of AP …..but if Chase is healthy he is the number 1 guy…..Chase would have been a threat to go 1-1.
