What was Deegans excuse last year?

Also, can you point me to the podium interviews where Tomac and Sexton were talking about how they were proud to put American boys back on top?

If you have difficulty locating those, could you try to find Tomac and Sexton waving around the flag at a non des nations race?

Here are a couple of photos of Chase that are interesting considering he didn’t race last year despite two teams offering to provide a bike

Can you get me a list of reasons it is ok to skip the race? Very confusing when reading the threads. Thx in advance

A few factors to keep in mind

Choosing not to go 100% of the time is different from turning it down one or more times.

If you say the team won’t let you go because it’s not in the budget, it’s best if the team hasn’t multiple times in the last 10 years

Chase has raced 1 MXdN, at his home track.

I don’t really care one way or the other, just kind of seems like goal posts move depending on the guy. It was ok for Dunge to skip in 15 or whatever to get married, yet Jcoop got a ton of shit for getting married instead last year.

so, like requested above…a comprehensive list of vital-approved reasons would be helpful in navigating the bullshit.

Sure…major injury and not changing bikes that are as different as can be a week before.  There you go.

As a fan of both American series since I was 5 I naturally root for the American riders until recently due to the Hunter brothers entry in the US, I didn't go for Reed because I thought he raced Stewart dirty and Stewart was my guy.

It has been disappointing over the past 20 years that the US team very rarely brought their number 1 team especially when overseas, it's disappointing that deegan js not going but I'm just a selfish fan, but the hate pile is an absolutely joke when it's literally like this every year for the last 20 years, but because deegan it's different.

Don't need a list or an excuse.  Go or don't go.  It's not hard.

Not only flag fascists (wanting rules put in place to prevent certain riders from waving the American flag), but also race facsists (wanting rules put into place to prevent certain riders from racing the MXoN).

And by certain riders I mean Haiden Deegan because nobody wanted that with Eli for not going in the past, or Chase Sexton for not going in the past, or any other rider for not going in the past. But they, according to the anti-Deegan nutjobs, had perfectly good reasons for not going, while Deegan choosing to have an elective surgery to be 100% ready for 2025 (which brings him his paychecks) is not a good enough reason. Because after all, it’s your career and your body that’s injured, correct?

LOL, playing the victim how typical..

“Facist”..a joke. What’s next, if you don’t fall for the Deegan BS who are going to start calling people Nazi’s like some CNN anchor?

Dodging should not be rewarded..it’s simply common sense.

You want to be the man you got to step up and be the man. It’s a regional 8 race feeder series…

1. Injury - Broken bones, torn ligaments, damaged cartilage, surgery, paper cut, itchy balls, etc...

2. Relationship - Marriage, engagement, date with a podium girl, instagram model, or your grandmother, etc...

3. Bike - Change of manufacturer, model, suspension, footpegs, handlebars, graphics, etc...

4. Team - Conflict with other teams, don't like traveling overseas, don't have budget.

5. Sponsor conflict - Not sponsored by monster energy.

6. Money - Not getting paid to race.

7. Don't give a crap.

I'm using hyperbole to show how absurd the anti-Deegan nuts like you are. Clearly, you're not a fascist, but your attitude towards Deegan is just as irrational.  You want him banned from racing the MXoN in 2025 and others want him banned from waving the American flag.

You claim that Haiden is "dodging" the MXoN, and you want that claim taken as fact without question, even though he's having a surgery to have pins removed.  Deegan has stated that he could have raced the MXoN, but has chosen to get his wrist taken care of now rather than later so he can be 100% ready for the 2025 season.

I have yet to see you or anyone else for that matter answer the question of whether or not you are privy to his medical records so that you can play doctor and make a sound judgment on the direction Haiden should take with his own health and career.

It's not about your cheap claim of playing victim; it's about calling nutjobs like you out on your baseless claims for which you have no answer, but which you continually push as fact.

As for a regional title...go try and win one because most don't you sod. My guess is, the one's who have, are pretty damn proud of it as they should be.

Would you like to answer the question of whether or not you are privy to his medical records? Probably not since you ignored it the last time I asked you.

I have no doubt he'll be back on the bike rather quickly. That's not the point. The point is, there is still recovery time, rest, and prep for the new season. If you or anyone else doesn't think that a trip to Europe with a huge race doesn't add another huge layer with complications to all that, then I have oceanfront  property in Arkanas to sell you.

If you're plenty familiar with rebuilding an engine, and someone comes along and tries to convince you that rebuilding their engine is a far more complicated and time consuming process than you and everyone else who rebuilds engines knows the process to be, you don't have to see that person's engine to know they're full of shit. You should keep clinging to that defense if it makes you feel better though.

I'm not clinging to anything, I'm pushing back against the unfounded claims that are being made and once again, you can't answer the question. In fact, you keep avoiding it.

Are you privy to Haiden's medical records?

Human bodies are not engines and even if they were, a proper diagnosis without taking the engine apart and being aware of its internals is at best, a guess in the dark without relevant information.

Haiden already said he could have raced the MXoN but chose not to so he could have his pins removed sooner rather than later to be fully prepared for the 2025 season. So why are you chiming in and pretending that everything fits neatly into a time slot as if you have access to Haiden's medical records, doctor's advice, and his health and career?

I'm sure that's another question you'll avoid.

“Deegan has stated that he could have raced the MXoN, but has chosen to get his wrist taken care of now rather than later so he can be 100% ready for the 2025 season. ”

Hint: This quote of your post is exactly our point. Haidan (He is an Adult) / Deegan’s simply don’t see the point of representing their country. They could race the MXDN but it’s overseas, no start money, basically a pain. Their time is better spent filming social media videos. Essentially our national MX2 champion doesn’t want to help America win the Olympics of our sport.

I’ve had that procedure done. 3-10 days max, probably a week at 18 years old, training athlete, good nutrition, modern supplements, etc just to be safe. We aren’t stupid. We all know you can race the MXDN, get the pins out, and still be 1000% ready.

Personally I am a little shocked Daddy Deegan is so short sighted. Like I’ve said earlier 99.9% of MX/SX fans would rate a 1/1 MX2 class win against the worlds best and possibly anchoring a win for the U.S. at our sports Olympics far higher than winning a SX regional feeder series 8 races long. A series he is 1000% destined to win anyways. In his 3rd SX season, facing only 1/2 or less of our best SX riders, 8 or so races long series who is betting against him?

Go 1/1 in front of the world at the MXDN holding that Monster can on the podium, whole family wearing Monster gear head to toe, and they can wave an American flag all you want. Sell all the America/U.S. flag “Merch” you want. You earned it. Trust he would have even more fans.

Use the American flag merely to stir shit with the Lawrence’s and sell merch but think so little of representing it for real and there is going to be backlash. Not everyone is going to kiss your ass as usual. This is common sense, not “Nut Jobs”..

he could have had the procedure done a week later and been just as 100% for A1. His doctor and his team have zero care when he gets the procedure done. It's a very straightforward procedure and he'll be back on a bike in very short order. These are facts that you can't accept because you're a fan boy so you're trying to sound smart and make this more complicated than it is. It's pathetic. Go ahead and have the last word, dope.

Let’s get back to the point of this topic.

Cooper Webb stepped for America. He deserves all the praise in the world. Hero move.

Congratulations Cooper, you have earned a boat load of new fans. Count on it

Half of your 200 replies have been arguing with people about Deegan. You might want to look in the mirror, nut job. Has it ever occured to you that other men can have opinions on someone and you don't need to change their opinions. You refuse to actually comprehend what anyone is saying even when it's been broken down to a 1st grade level for you. You keep repeating yourself about the surgery. We get it, he's not going because of the surgery.  Deegan didn't want to go last year either. You refuse to acknowledge the waffling by the Deegans, which is what annoyed most people. You make some stupid statements about Eli not going. Eli went multiple times on Honda. It's well known Monster Energy Kawasaki didn't want to go.  You're so blinded by your love for Deegan that you're trying to convince us that Eli is the same.

If I knew how to do it,  I'd post a link to Coop's Instragram post of him and AP ripping together. Very cool. He's on Deegan's 250. Said he's reunited with his boy AP again. Forgot about them being Star teammates.

Just copy the URL to the post off instagram. Then to post it here. JUST Click the youtube icon  and add the link to the post where it says "Paste URL".

I circled the icon in red. It works with youtube and instagram videos.
