Are you a Deegan fan yet?

How could anybody hate a rider that started the paddle tire craze with a real paddle?  Not to mention winning the race wearing a neck brace as well.  

Fan of his riding ability, the rest of it… not so much.

Yes ! Deegan fan. Check.  As far as what kind of a person he is ? How the fuck would I know I don't know him from Adam, or what he's like in "Real" life. He's 18 😄 of course he's cocky. I'll wait till he can drink a beer before I go all Judge Judy on the kid, until then I hope he keeps doing what he's doing the sports way more fun with him in it 

I would like it if his competitors  amped up their shit talking, but they are afraid.

Yep!  He also comes from a great family. Brian is one of the most down to earth, friendliest and coolest people ever involved in the sport.   And in all seriousness...Brian would love nothing more than to see Haiden go to the MXoN and win his class this year.  But Star obviously wants to protect it's investment  in regards to having Haiden ready and 100% for A1.  

Yes, everyone is skilled. Some most of the time have no heart and aggression.

Yup, I am giving him a chance now. He is a great rider and I think there is a good kid unerneath all of the B.S. This is after just beleiving all the hype unfairly to him .

I wasnt a Jett fan when he was in the toddler class. 

Mega-hype for a relatively unproven. 

Once he was in the big-boy class and won, yeah I’m a fan. 

Same applies for Deegs.

I don’t care for the personality.  

Deegan is the best rider by a large margin in the 250 class. He has made cocky comments but if he backs them up, that’s not cocky it’s just extreme confidence and I don’t have any problem with that. Deegan lives in the Danger zone and some 250 riders have tried to live in that zone and end up making big mistakes… You can already see he is growing out of the smack talk because there’s nobody that rides as fast and consistent as him and he is just totally dominating the class.

He’s the most interesting rider to watch, (including every 450 rider), on the planet. Fight me. 

I'm a fan but I also don't go out of my way to be offended.    Easily the most fun guy to watch on the track and he is making smx look easy so far.    

I am not a fanboy of any racer these days. I have seen the best come and go, DeCoster, Barnett, Hannah, Bailey, Bradshaw, Smith. Not to mention RC, RD, RV and JS to name a few. Currently Deegan, Lawrence bros., and Tomac are, or will be, shredding the record books. I have always been a fan of the underdog, currently held by Nicoletti.

As far as MXDN  is concerned, I see it playing out in either of two scenarios:

1. Deegan will move up to the 450's in 2026. Meanwhile, 2025 MXDN picks will be Hayden, Eli and Chase, with Deegan on a 250.  

2. I think this is the likely scenario. Family decided to hold Deegan back for the 2024 MXDN. Why? To make a big splash in the 450 class, much like Jett did. Backed up by either Tomac or Sexton and an unnamed 250 pick (Kitchen?).

You have to respect the talent of HD. That is undeniable. I will even let the so called trash talk slide. But when you are asked to represent your country at the MXDN, it is a big black mark when saying no. Yes, he has hardware to be removed, that can wait for two weeks. For sure...

As far as the 2024 MXDN, my picks would have been Eli, Hayden and Sexton.

I’m impressed by his talent & speed…not overly impressed by his lack of humility, respect or a filter. But, I give a lot of credit to Brian coaching him on his “personality”.

Never wasn't a fan. I wish he would race the MXdN. Period. Discussion on it has been beat to death. I'm ready to move on

I’m a fan, I like his WFO style. I also like to watch Jett leave us in awe with his smooth style. I think it’s an exciting time to be a fan and I hope these two battle it out for years to come. I think that’s what’s so polarizing with the fans/haters/whatever you want to call it. 

We shouldn’t have to draw a line in the sand and pick a side, just sit back and enjoy what’s unfolding before us. The stars are aligning for some good racing in the 450 class very soon.

I'm not a fan of him as a person. But man, the kid is a machine. He's going to be a real threat to Jett (I much prefer Jett tbh).

He’s clearly the best MX rider at the moment.  In SX the jury is still out.  Pressure will be on in 250SX next year - if he can’t win a title in three attempts that will be a bit of a black mark in his book.

Don’t care for his public persona one iota.

Will be interesting to see if he continues running his mouth when he gets to the 450’s.  If he’s talking like that and not delivering it won’t be a good look.

You Americans are so over the top with this MxDN stuff. You hate a rider because he does not race a race that pay him nothing. Y’all act like representing the country at mxon is like going to war
