Most people want to be a fan but his mouth keeps them away. Instead they just appreciate the speed and talent.
I’m waiting to see if one of these guys put him on the ground in the triple points round. When you talk a lot of shit, you make more enemies. It wouldn’t be that hard for someone to chop that wheel on the first lap.

I never liked Bob Hannah. I doubt I ever will.
1. Does the Brennan kid even ride anymore?hindsight says that was just a publicity stunt
2. I was laughing at the blown red rocket as well and everything worked out for hunter in the end anyways.
3. I would be pissed too, maybe the anger was misdirected but that first turn kamikaze deal fucked his season someone had to get yelled at.
4. Forkner is reckless and made of glass, he could not survive in the danger zone for very long…at least he didn’t call him a girl like Jett did a couple years ago.

7. Jordan is the 2nd sketchiest rider alive right now (behind RJ). 38 had to establish early on that he wasn’t playing games with that guy. And that little skirmish had Jordan mentally defeated so it worked.
8. Don’t really remember that one, but maybe if someone wants to establish themselves as a top dawg they should probably see if they can get aggressive with the top dawg…or just let him win every week I guess that’s easier.
9. Yeah that was pretty cool of Seth’s mom to fight his battles for him I love when my mom yells at my competitors at the track makes me feel like more of a man…how’s Seth these days?
10. He lost a shot a winning a title in his rookie season because of something out of his control, pretty big deal. Probably his lowest moment as an athlete and he made up for that this season.

By the way, what was the "we'll race him when it's time" joke all about? I remember people talking about this back in his amateur days, and I believe it was some sort of dig on Deegan correct? Wasn't it something along the lines of people thought he was scared to race Ryder D? I was't paying attention back then, so please educate me.

I love watching Deegan ride. I respect how amazing he is at riding a dirt bike. I’m not a fan of the antics but then I see how awesome he seems to be with the Craig family’s kids.
With that said, I’ve lost a ton of respect for him over the MXdN. I don’t care about the excuses or reasons why. No ones going to convince me he can’t go race the event if he actually wanted to. If he just doesn’t want to do the race at least just say that. I’d still lose respect for him but at least he’d be honest.
Not the biggest fan of his persona but I absolutely appreciate a rider of his caliber that isn't just a rare talent but also a guy that is willing to push more than anyone and hit things or sections on a track that nobody else is doing. Fun to watch him ride! Won't be the main guy I'll be rooting for though.
I wish we didn't have robots on the podium and press conferences.

Okay, so whether you like Deegan or not, do you think there's any merit to the claims that Deegan's riding style won't translate well to being able to race Jett on the 450 since Jett has near perfect riding technique?
I will admit Jett seems to have near flawless technique and that's a huge part of his success. We've heard some of the experts say you can't beat him until you match his technique, but I have to wonder what will happen. Could Deegan's "send it" style compete with Jett's picture perfect body positioning over a full 450 season? I'm thinking (and hoping) it is possible.
I know it's not right to compare different sessions, but Deegan was close to top 5 today on what seemed like a track where the 450 would have a decent advantage on with accelerating out of some of those sandy/loose sections/berms and down some of the straights:
I wonder how many people here remember the Hannah days and if they would have been happier if Hannah behaved more like a choir boy like the rest of them back then. The kid's got extreme confidence and swagger and says what he wants rather than the corporate robotic bullshit. I think it's refreshing for a change and do look forward to the times ahead when he and Jett will square off. I expect Jett to win most of those, but the golden boy vs. bad boy thing will be epic for us bench racers. We're gonna see some fur fly!
Great thing about Haiden is he doesn't care about approval. Drives his haters nuts.

Amazing skill on a dirt bike but something about him just isn’t likable. He’ll have a great career if he keeps it on two wheels. Hopefully he can bring outside sponsors to the sport.

Haiden's a great rider no doubt about it and he's definitely taken a big step up this year. While I think he does amazing things on the motorcycle also, I don't think his style is the best. Jett's got that on lock.

People will continue to be pissed off about the MXON thing until he starts going to them. Next year won't count because it's in the US and his attending only adds to the negative narrative about Deegan and MXON.

Fan of Deegs? I’m not going to his hauler for an autograph…. But I’m damn sure going to my seat to watch him race. Not real impressed with his on camera personality, majorly impressed with his on track skill.
As for the 450, won’t be an issue at all. He’ll be an instant threat.
