I am sure the motorcycle running out of gas at Southwick wasn’t great for Marchbanks. JT just mentioned on the Moto 60 show, the team may have said Garrett was over reving  the bike, that’s what caused the motorcycle to run out of gas. lol

I do remember Phil saying after he started the get better starts, it was like pulling teeth trying to get work done with start mapping.

Yeah, when I was listen to the Moto:60 show today, they were definitely making it seem like Marchbanks and the team weren’t really thrilled with each other. Wasn’t that the case with PC last time too? I guess all wounds heal over time considering he is back to PC next year but you would think that with how small this sport is, you’d want to keep as good as of a relationship you can with any team you’ve been a part of.

Mitch spoke on this a bit ago, said he really liked him and hated to see him go. Don't quote me but Im pretty sure it was kawis decision.

I’ve tried to buy parts etc from clubmx to support them but they won’t take the time of day to respond,  I reached out on how I was going to purchase skid parts from one of there sponsors but needed a code so they can track that clubmx is the reason I was buying, again no response, if that’s how they run business I don’t see them lasting much longer imo.

Not trying to throw shade at them but, I was down there for a week and needed a clutch or simply a plate. I asked 2 different people one i believe was the owner and was told they don't have it. Meanwhile the team was running the same bikes. I found that hard to believe they didn't have multiple clutch kits or simply a old used steel plate to sell me.

How much has JMart cost Club the last year and a half / 2 years? I wonder what his salary from them is and if they’re still paying him while he’s hurt? Maybe a lack of funds and Garrets not happy, so mutually part ways?

Garrett Marchbanks is set to return to the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team for the 2025 season.

With this move, we’re not sure, but Marchbanks could potentially join PC for SMX in 2024.

Forkner to PC for SX only, Masterpool to PC for MX only… according to Matthes of PulpMX / RacerX.

I would think he would want to get off the 250. Dude weighs 190lbs and he's racing 140lb kids. He's gonna get eaten up next summer

Just my opinion and I have no clue. But Brandon comes across as very direct and honest from the video's I have seen. Marchbanks has a history so seems really odd he would just part ways out of nowhere. That being said Club really not having many guys for next year lined up doesn't sound promising.

They didn’t have Schock until what, December?

Garrett told me, as of now, he has nothing for the rest of the season

Care to share why he suddenly decided to depart and mid season?

This is not a good sign for any future employer.

I’ll wait until he’s ready to talk about that publicly

My guess is he was upset about the mechanical issues and the Team didn't take his frustration well or vice versa.  For example, Matthes mentioned they blamed him revving the bike too much for the bike running out of gas at Southwick.

If Barcia isn’t running out of gas at southwick, then no one should be 😂

Dude gets cut by the team, does interviews all year long about how affected emotionally he was, basically confirms a vendetta against the PC team. Takes out McAdoo at Daytona in last place like a b*tch. Now he’s going back? What happened to the past years of being pissed off they cut him? What a joke.

Understandable… even if they weren’t a shop to sell parts….. someone needs a clutch just sell them one msrp or whatever you want to charge and have another one coming in the mail a day or two after. That’s just how the Moto community should treat one another.

Mitch's talent acquisition in the last few years has been questionable at best. Whilst ending up with one to two bikes on track out of five, year after year, he's now signing a proven head case that can't control his emotions. After Garrett has purposely taken his anger out on Mitch's riders. I don't mean to be a hater or a negative Nancy, but I gotta say, I don't get this one. Especially because this means he's letting Ty walk after he got him to 300.

Mitch picking riders the last few years has been like Decoster picking the Des Nations riders, a couple of head scratchers in there 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I have not raced in over 6 years but have been around the pro Moto races still. Totally get what you’re saying though and makes me glad I can’t physically Moto anymore.

This isn’t a stab at you Dark, but more the industry as a whole.. it’s shitty for us fans that we have people in the media that know, but won’t tell us the real stories, what happened to rumours? leaking info and proper JOURNALISM in the sport? I understand the media wants to be in with the riders and not rock the boat, but other sports are savage with leaking information, I wish the riders were contracted to be more upfront with the media or not have the right to refuse interviews because they don’t like the media person..

Question.

Does anyone think this guy will ever be anything more than a non podium guy, no matter who he rides for ??

And what has he ever brought to a professional moto cross team ??

Not bagging on the guy, just asking.

Our industry suckkkksssss! DARKKKKKKKKK! spill the darn beans!!! It’s so shitty how the riders and teams will let some media people in on things but if they let that info out they will be black listed. So it’s just a shitty situation to be in where you want to be cutting edge and let out the news but need to shut up and still get bits and pieces.

Hahaha awesome!! Sorry to derail the thread but I have to ask how long ago! I used to spend winters in holly springs North Carolina back in the “serious” race wear days. Boy do I miss that we had a huge crew of solid guys that would not only give you a clutch but their bike if they weren’t riding at the time.

Yeah by the time the trouth comes out, it’s not relevant anymore.

Same with Red Dog junior and triumph.

Its the best facility ive ever been to but since im just a regular guy it didn't feel as welcoming. Some places would do whatever it takes to help you out. I was literally asking for even a used steel plate which they probably had hundreds in the trash i would pay for and told no. Thats not to mention the pro shop that supposedly stocks and has all those parts to purchase.
