This is what takes all time riders out. Injuries. Hopefully they don’t rush him back for SMX if he’s not ready. His future is far more important than a three race series.
This is also the problem when fans and media start counting wins like they are nearly automatic. As far as MX is concerned RC is still untouchable it seems.

Actually I was extremely bored . My co had me sit for a punishment for driving after a 6 hr break to deliver. Dispatch is the Azz wipe that dispatch es me where I hv to drive & illegally park in a st to make a delivery. If I raced 14A in our st with 3 riders I would earn more. S of Indy ts it’s all packies. 1 parked a beater car in front of me. A passenger door was open but there’s to much crap in it to get in drivers seat and it stunk real bad. I banged on a trk 5 min later a 80 yr old with a turbin on answers the door. He was shaking real bad probably dope sick. Eww his trk stunk sooo bad it made my eyes water. He did move his car . I was going to hv it towed. His trk & car were all smashed up. Abandoned trks everywhere
The real bummer is for the MX fans that planned to attend the remaining races of the season; they won’t get to see this guy and his amazing riding in person this year.

I’ll be interested to see the hit viewership takes on NBC/Peacock since 80% of their coverage was promoting Jett. Maybe they should have pushed some other riders forward more and promoted the championship battle …instead of the second coming. Well at least the other 20% of coverage was on Deegan and he is still healthy…and after all…he has a low risk riding style so he should be safe…….,,,,,,,,,

This is what separates the very best (GOAT) from those that are the best of their time. RC in particular just never let this happen to him... Others like Cairoli and Everts were similar. Then you have the other extreme, like Herlings who can win every event he enters, but is made of glass. I'm not saying Jett is going to be hurt a lot like Herlings, but already he's hurt enough to not win 93 out of 96 moto's or whatever the hell Carmichael's streak was...
He'll be back and strong as ever I suspect because Jett is the best MX racer of this time... But injuries happen to most in their career, now including Jett.
