Hate to see a man have his dream shattered. We all know life is full of ups and downs and requires resiliency. Must be alot of politics in our little niche sport.

RC seems like a real petty, insecure dude. Not saying he wasn't fast.

He definitely engages with people quite a bit on Instagram. And look, who doesn't want to tell someone talking shit to go pound sand. But you'll never win with social media trolls. Just acknowledging them and you've already lost

According to Blair, he had some opportunities to go do other play by play(I think he alluded to doing some lacrosse matches on ESPN or something of that sort) and didn't want to continue down that path for whatever reason. So he may have been chased out of the SX stuff, but he had other avenues and didn't want to stay in the booth.

Daniel Blair and Justin Brayton, also do the announcing for GT Arena Cross.

just because RC was one of the winningest racers of all does not make him anything more them a great and very successful motocross rider....remind that Vince Friese his very good on the bike, but also a prick on and off of it.....

as a midia guy i dont like him, i dont think he adds to the broadcast, i even think he miss leads viewers that are not to familiar with his analysis and takes that are always the same, as if they were pre written....JS7 saves the day most of the times..!!!!!!

try to watch a race with him on the both, and another one without him......

as a motocross racer, the most respect ( despite some doughts i still have).....but as a man, not my favorite......

I mostly agree but I can’t wrap my head around how bad he is in the booth compared to his podcast when he’s relaxed and super chill. It’s like 2 different people

No stuttering, no hickups, not struggling to get to his point, only thing ive noticed is a bit of a shaky voice here and there. I think if you wouldnt know, youd think he did this plenty of times! Very natural on the mic. He wont be great, he already is!

AC is going to be awesome. Has a vibe similar to Broc Glover.

That should help you guys understand that the team has a script that they have to stick to. He was good, but nothing about it said “get him in the booth immediately.”

As long as James wants to be in the booth I think he and Weege are as good as it gets. Let's just enjoy the excellent crew we now seem to have the way it is put together,

AC seemed a bit reserved, maybe nervous this first week.  He's going to be awesome!

I thought it was cool when he was interviewing Chase.  They both looked at each other like "What the heck are you doing with that mic!".

I thought so too. But AC also comes in with high expectations, so might be a bit unfair. Even with that, I thought he did great, different style for sure. Give him a year or 2 and he'll be lethal in there. Maybe JS7 and AC alternating ? Maybe 12 SX for JS7 and a few outdoors, as to not burn either out on travel ?

With AC being a Monster guy, I see him doing alot of SX. Conversely, I see James doing the Outdoors more.

"Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series".

And delving into conspiracy theories, I believe that's why RC (Monster) has retained his position.

For the first time he's done this on the real stage I thought he did great.

Possibly, I just figured SX is higher profile, and JS has more credentials. Either way, if we get both of them, I don't care how it's split, the viewers win Smile

Adam will be the best sx/mx announcer of all time. Let's revisit this in ten years
