Probably an equal 1000s of hours on either
I can never drive down I-10 without looking down Hwy 87 thinking about that track.
In the REAL old days you could even see it through the trees from the interstate.
Spread the riding out a lot. Mamoth Bar probably.
That’s awesome, what kind of job did you have if you don’t mind me asking? Fellow fl rider.
Long Island Motocross! Place was epic!
Lincoln trail Mx. Casey illinois still open 1200 entries on weekends

Carlsbad, definitely Carlsbad. Some people used to talk a lot of poop on that place but I always had fun there, plus their Christmas GPs were a blast. Pretty much all that is left, was the start straight and the first turn if I remember correctly.
Pit Row
Yea we were best friends since 10th grade and riding trumps everything was our motto. He owned a roofing company and I was a charter boat captain/ tournament angler as well as some rental income.

Either Main track at Saddleback bitd or the REM track at Glen Helen followed by the National track at the Glen
LACR. Still going... barely.
Definitely LACR. My lap count there due to running at Day in the Dirt. Still going, I think.
The tracks I grew up racing on in New England were never open for practice, they were race only facilities. We had what we called practice tracks in pits and various clandestine locations.
Sad to say it was a little track called Lakeside in Bastrop Tx. It was open every Wed night and 25 mins from my house outside Austin. Garbage track but was a great way to break up the week and have a break from the 9-5.
Elsinore. Glad it's still around.
Same, LACR by a country mile. Second would be Indian Dunes.
Possum Hollow. My avatar pic is there. Jeff Emig spun a lot of laps there, and I’m sure Forkner has as well.
Tomahawk and Mountaineer (closed) are great practice tracks. Never raced either of them but that was our off season stomping grounds. Did more laps at these two than anywhere else.
Race laps - Budds Creek and Seaford (Closed).
Wattisfield in Suffolk, UK. It's been there since the 1960's and is in the middle of the village across the road from the duck pond. A nice, natural track with a few jumps put in, that has cows on it the rest of the year. I was involved in the club when I raced and probably banged a few thousand wooden posts in over the years too. This was about 10 years ago on my '88 KX500. Wish I still had it..
3 tracks for me - Mills Rd MX in Houston - rode there a couple times a week for years before it was ever a race track .. it closed around 2002 and the owner bought the track that is now 3 Palms. 290MX in Waller, TX - rode there a ton in the 90's and on trips home in the 2000s and I think it closed in 2005. Pax Trax in Bunnell, FL - Moved to Daytona in 2001 and rode there at least once a week until I moved back to Texas in 2009.
Post a reply to: Thinking Back, Which Track, In Your Lifetime, Have You Spun The Most Laps Upon ? *Is the track still active ?
