5/3/2026 10:07am Pro off-road guy here. I have a 22 450r. It’s a good bike. It’s horribly suspended in stock form though. Frame is rigid but that’s what makes it turn so well and feel nimble. Is it the greater bike I’ve ever ridden? No. But it’s not bad. Takes a lot to get it setup right though.

2/10/2025 2:13pm Quite a bit. Sag is 110mm right now and fork height flush. Bike is just really active handling wise. Bike only has 3 hours on it. Does it need more break in to feel better?

10/9/2024 10:07am It’s my second bike, main bike is a kx 450. I love the xtrainer once I got the proper springs for my weight. Got stiffer springs and made a huge difference. I’ve got 5th overall on that bike before. Buddies get mad at me when I pass them on it, because they say it’s a “girls bike”. Idk about that...

Yeah it probably is more flex, but it's also less crash bending resistance. Even with the crossbar, Twinwalls are not very bend resistant for how stupidly rigid they are. You also lose a bunch of control mounting real estate on the Twinwalls compared to the FatBar. Every time I ride someone's bike with Twinwalls I can't understand how they can ride with them. So harsh on your wrists and hands.

6/10/2024 2:37pm Not uncommon. Have had it happen on my last few bikes at around 100 hours. The bearing will go and you will find brass shavings in oil or the bike will bog down and lock up. I ride pro btw but I’ve seen it happen on any bike regardless of skill. oil changes obviously help. I change mine every 3-4...

6/10/2024 2:30pm This used to happen on my kx250f back in the day around every 50 hours. Sometimes it can be the type of fuel you run. Not that uncommon id say. Original motor?

4/21/2024 4:20pm I would say a piston at 75 hours should be safe for a 450. It just depends on how hard your ride and maintenance.
