Respectfully, just like any company, separate divisions have separate budgets. That said, it still comes down to the overall bottom line for any company regardless of how one of its divisions performs. So, anything is always possible. The good news is Honda, like most Japanese companies play the "long game".

3/14/2026 9:18pm The loss came from the vehicle side, but I wonder if any cost-cutting could eventually affect the motocross/supercross side—teams, R&D, sponsorships, etc.

Prado took 7 races to podium in 450 SX , having never raced a 250. Tomac took 9 , having had a full 250 career first. Prado has won 28.5% of his heat races. And something i didnt realise, was that Roczen won his first ever Supercross on a 450, at A1. And the Kickstart on Kenny's 450 is probably the same one that was on the bike when it 'Daybooood' at A1 in 2005. But who was on it. ? And while Tomac has become the second rider to win on 4 brands, the KTM win is his first...

Davey is a good guy in my book. Tim cotter on the other hand. Not sure what sort of dirt he has on mx sports they don’t can his ass… he doesn’t know if he’s coming or going sometimes. Most boring racing this weekend in motorsport scene. What made track so boring, they started and just rode around in same order. High light was some 250f guys whipping over couple jumps but other than that there was nothing happening. These races should be playoff of season but this was big let down and MXGP, F1 and MotoGP just got this one looking like club racing.

Just finished listening to this week's pulp show. Credit where it is due, that was a good show, a little different in the context of entertainment and more of an education on some topics. The bit that stood out was how feld needs the skills and experience of mx sports and mx sports needs the skills and expertise of feld. Congrats to all involved in this one.
