There are times his speed is just ridiculous.. He has had quite a few moments that made me go WOW.. that kid absolutely rips!
He isn't racing again till mx.
Don’t understand pulling guys from a race series to prep for another race series. Isn’t the best prep gate drops? I can see testing and putting more focus on the prep than the current results but to pull out seems counter intuitive
I’m a Deegan fan, and stoked he got 3rd, but I’m not so sure that podium would have been his if Hymas hadn’t gotten a shitty start/crashed (whichever put him so far back in the main). The kid was ON this weekend.

The results these rookies are getting is a good example as to why the 250 class should be combined.
Or maybe a good example of the talent coming up.....there are more to follow...
You wouldn’t see most of them if the coast were combined.
He had almost as much hype coming in as Deegan. The hype train has just focused on Deegan based on results. Chance it doing great, and when he gets on the podium, the hype will be there.
Remember him running up on hunter in the heat? Was awesome.
And if my aunt had balls
I can't believe they're sitting him now until outdoors. I think he's looked amazing. That's a weird call in my opinion.
Until now , I had no idea that this even happened. Yeah , that seems a little odd.
With Jett moving to 450 outdoors you have to assume they want to make sure he's completely ready to roll come outdoors. Nothing else really makes sense.
Thanks for your input. Have the best day ever...
Boy has arrived.
Great ride by Chance. You could see the emotional part of our sport in the podium interview. Chunk has seem to put it together for sure.
A good interveiw talking to Byrner, good insight.
Also mentioned, Chance is another rider lacking an ACL.
He was perfectly balanced and planted. Line choice was incredible. He really had the entire track linked together, very fluid.
Chase’s moto last week may have been the best, but I think that second moto from hymas was the second best “ride of the year” so far. He looked an awful lot like a third Lawrence brother.
Pit Row
100% This.......i normally tape delay the race and FF thru each moto - not this one. I watched every minute - the kid dissected that track like the 3rd Lawrence brother. What a ride ! ! Congrats kid - looked like very humble family / hope the enjoyed it
Kid looked like an absolute baddass. Bring on the future, he is ready...... So proud of that kid.
I'm not sold on Chance yet, but I'm watching.
He rode super mature for his age, as some of you have said, he looks like a 3rd Lawrence out there and is a straight up clone of Hunters style.
Smooth, riding in the right rpm’s and was pure poetry to watch.
Would not be surprised if he and Vialle battle for the win at southwick this year.
It's always sounded like he's a lad with the speed and skill to progress like this.
We've all seen flashes of it and heard stories from how he goes at the practice track. It just always seemed like he fell a little short or went a little off the rails at the weekend when it actually counts.
Hopefully now he's clicked off the first one, he can start racking them up.
He really does ride like hunter.
What was going on with Hymas? Listening to his interview on Pulp he had some food issues/ allergies, possibly epstein barr? Can someone please elaborate?
Sounds like a few guys have talked about food but never went into great detail on the topic. (Roczen & Hunter)
very curious also. He is talking about nutrition changes. Does anybody know what changes that entails? I feel like Gluten & Dairy are the top 2 food groups to exclude from your diet but that does not sound like rocket science haha
