Cool to see changes stemming from the race teams. Also means Jett won’t have to worry about the bike changes next year if it’s what they are basically on

All I need……another racin scooter add to my I want list.

Be interesting to see if they did calm the chassis.  The corner exit rear stepping out on my 23 might be fixed per the Vital post I read on Facebook.

I miss when they thought about reducing weight on the 250, this model gained 5 lbs...

I like the previous gen shrouds more still, but the new one have at least grown on me already. Where the shroud meets the number plate looks a bit weird/doesn't flow, but looks like it will look fine once graphics are on there.  Hopefully the updates help the performance of the bike!

Pumped they added a 250WE!  That will likely be my next bike.

I read Trey Canard did testing.  Wonder if he had input or just evaluation.

Pretty sexy, but the previous gen is hard to top in the looks department:

Agreed. I don't own a Honda, but the current gen is the best looking bike imo.

The bike was designed before Jo got there. Takes more than 6 months to finalize a new model.

Extra kilos on the bike are different from the rider losing weight, every kg on the bike affects it in big ways

Good point. Still, I bet if Jo just won a SX title he'd get a mention.

They switched to Dunlops from Pirelli.

I looked at the Honda website and they have 2025 250R specs listed, shows same skinny Pirelli as previous years.  Maybe they haven’t updated and showing 24 specs.

Thank you.

Look like 94/95 RM shrouds with angular holes.

Fugly then, fugly now.

Been a whole lot of fugly styling trends with new bikes lately

"The majority of the changes are in the chassis, updating the rigidity and actually making the bike stiffer. This may sound counter-productive, but over and over, Honda has relayed to use that their current chassis isn't too stiff but is in fact too soft in a few areas."

So, they've increased the torque spec on the engine mount bolts?Grinning

I always drool over the new gen Honda releases.

These things are horribly fugly.  And I've never once thought that about a Honda.

That was the best looking bike ever made in my opinion. I’m extra pissed we didn’t get a 250rwe in that era.

Yep, the ‘25 250 is heavier - ‘24 229lbs vs ‘25 234lbs (curb weight)

Looks like the 450 is the same at 245lbs

Eh! Previous generation looks better! Although I like the idea of the WE,250  might be a little pricey though

Plus amazing deals on the previous models, which are very close from 22-24.

And the side panels just keep getting smaller. Looks like they hired a designer from Beta or one of the Austrian brands. Ugh.

Progress, my man, progress.

Why buy a sub-200 lb. 125 when for a couple grand more you can get 40 additional pounds to run in the class? Puts more weight on the rear tire for better traction and you get more for it in scrap value when it's time to rebuild it.
