lol, I still remember getting yelled at by my grandpa when I must have been six saying that if I couldn't figure out how to put tools back I was probably too stupid to use them.

Now that I work in an Auto Shop, I'm the only non-tech who the techs trust to return their tools.

This is the only shot I've got as I won't be closing until April, shop has 2 14' doors (one side is drive through), two hoists, a 45'x90' pole building, 24'x48' finished garage, 3.5 fenced in acres, retail area (billiard room), office, and attached 2 bedroom apartment. I'll be living there and running my business.

This is my 24x24 shop. The dirt bikes live in an attached garage. They only make it to the shop to get worked on. My best advice is to have most of your stuff able to be moved around or folded up so you can maximize your space. If I was building new I’d have running water and a bathroom.

That's a really cool shop!

My 40x60 I had built in December. In the final steps of completion now. We finish electrical this week then I’ll move my toys in. I need some ideas as to where to do the workbench and bike area.

I need one of those! I have to figure out where to put it around my condo Smile .

So at the end of 2019 I was packing up to move and started house hunting. That all turned to shit as by February 2020 we all know how the world changed. Well, I finally caved in and started to rebuild my old shop. And this is not an easy task task as my first priority in my new home was much larger shop. And based on that, as I ramped up to the move, I bought a few new shop toys. Oops.

I used to do the same thing. But now that I’m 30 dad drops his tools the last place he used them and I get to clean the shop once a week or more. We’ve come full circle lmao I don’t mind it a bit though….I’m just glad I have a kickass spot to work on my bikes

I have literally been looking for YEARS for a little Clausing 8520 mill and and finally found one locally that was reasonably priced. Stoked.

Here's what happens when you move to a bigger house with a small garage. Blink

Ha ha ha. My life. I left my 19x26 shop for a 17x17 for love.
My other issue is I had a greater love for buying/selling/restoring and racing VMX bikes. I was usually keeping about 65 VMX bikes in rotation before I left my bigger shop.
Now I have slightly more manageable 20 bikes. And I mean slightly. The four modern bikes take up a great deal of time and effort to keep them all well maintained.
