I don't know what's crazier, Marchbanks coming back to PC after what seemed like a bridge burnt down or Vohland leaving PC after such a super brief stint where he looked much better than before but couldn't stay healthy. I really thought Vohland was turning things around.  I have a bad feeling if he goes to Triumph he'll just kinda fade away.

Interesting that Lucas is rumoured for KTM and Sacha for GasGas, would have thought it would be the other way around to keep more consistency with Sacha staying on KTM. Surprising to see Max maybe leave PC, seemed to really be working for him before the injury!

Anstie is so solid on that Honda, I hope he has the same success on the Yamaha. One of the funnest 250 guys to watch.

The coenen's can't stay off the ground outdoors,  sx could be rough.

They have a real potential for sure, and they are also pretty young so they are still learning, but I fully agree, currently they are far far from being ready to jump on the sx wagon. Go to sx tour, paris, australia, wsx and wax everybody or podium each week end and I will think differently. Said more harshly, if you can't do 20 minutes on a mx track without having a brain fart or a massive crash like gajser takes sometimes, then chill and wait a bit for sx otherwise it may become a joke, seriously, or it can end up super badly too. SX is a dream for everybody but it is not for everybody, it is dramatically sketchy in a way. I say that because I don't wish them like arm reconstructions like kenny had whereas he was the real deal or back injuries like so many had. They may do great and may do like the lawrence's but unless they really improve mentally, maturing quickly with the right people around that can also spill the truth, from what I saw these first few rounds I can just come up to the conclusion that I saw no improvements, it is too early and I need much more proofs that they are ready. Sorry if that hurts some feelings but I am pretty sure that in all cases their contracts in europe are still pretty good.

There are currently guys that are way better right now for a transfer to the US, De Wolf has so much that it can run with Jett, Renaux is a beast outdoor and could do like Ferrandis, Benistant, and even Prugnières or Vallin who are rookies on non factory teams, or 5 guys in mx2 and 10 guys in mx1, or Bourdon, and they would do much much better because they would not get injured within 5 minutes on a sx track. Sorry to spill what most think but I would gladly eat crows.

Lucas is the better of the two, the ktm group will want him on an orange bike before a red or white one imo.

He's been on a factory team for years now, I agree a change of scenery can make a difference, but winning race(s) seems like a stretch.

Agree with both of you.  However, Star doesn't want a race win or two.....  They want it all, right now.  And they do not wait around long for results.....  As they say, "Next....."

It shows that Mitch is an awesome stand up dude.

As far as Max goes, I assume he will go whenever a factory team will give him multiple years on a contract. I’d imagine PC if anything could only do a 1 year.

If Pierce can keep the consistency he's shown this season, he could diesel his way through to a championship if he can string podium finishes each weekend.

The Vohland move is a make or break in my opinion. It can do either for his career at this point depending how he fares against the competition.

Not only was the bridge burned...

I find it unbelievably disappointing that Mitch would want this dude back after this. Unsportsmanlike and an emotional liability. I also think it's ironic that Garrett would want back on the team after how much of a theme himself and the broadcast made his vendetta against PC out to be for like, 2 whole years. Whole thing is a joke.

They'd be better off with Mike Brown

So how did marchbanks actually leave on bad terms? I know he was upset but what makes people say bad terms?

The famous (infamous?) Milestone incident?

So what happened? As my post mentioned I didn’t know so I obviously don’t know or remember what you are referencing.

Maybe another year in MX2 would help.

Exactly. The Marchbanks takeout video was 3 years ago. I surely would think that all parties involved have grown and matured a bit since. Kudos to Mitch P for sticking with those who he thinks are solid people as well as faster than fuck riders.

Pierce Brown will be a very different rider on Star.

Vohland was looking so good on PC but I am looking for him to be better than Swoll on the Triumph, who’s had some decent runs on the brand new machine.

Smith made a smart move career wise to sign a multi year deal with Triumph and will put it on the box more than a couple times.

I believe Marchbanks would do better staying put at club, but we’ll have to wait and see on that.

Anstie to Star will be the guy to beat I recon.  He gave them fits on what I believe was a 2nd tier bike.

Very exciting  silly season so far and it’s only May. 5 more months till they can saddle up on the new machines.  Stoked!

I hope Romano can stay afloat, if not with star a firepower or club could be good.  Same with lopes.

So being a 250 thread, I'm assuming that Savatgy will be on a 450 Triumph. Also I hope that Hampshire will go 450 Husky instead of riding the 250 through 2026. Good thread though.
