I know this has been talked about for a year or longer, but that would/will be a huge loss for the GP series, Lucas in particular is an amazing talent, especially once he finds that balance between crazy speed and crashing every other moto.  That dude is a dog, he hates to lose.  Sasha is pretty dang fast too but is so short.  He has had tip over crashes in almost every moto this year, sometimes just because he can't get his feet down far enough or fast enough to stay upright.  He must be 5'4"?  And at 17 he may not grow much more....

Would be awesome to see them and Kay De Wolf come next year (or in 26) but I do enjoy watching the GPs and hate to see that series diminished further.

I totally agree. I have been watching MXGP for years. It is so exciting to hear of top guys wanting to come and race here, but at the same time i hate seeing them leave the GP's. I would really love to see a top guy or two from here go to the GPs and race there. Every MXDN I have been to I feel like a kid again. I get to watch all the GP guys that I only see on Tv or read about. I have been going to races for over 40 years and I think the most impressed I have been was 2018 MXDN watching Coldenhoff and Hearlings ride that track. Even my wife thought they looked so smooth almost like they were on a paved road. Not sure where I'm going with all this other than yes I better drink more coffee.

Ooorrr, is that who they are putting on a 450?

Savatgy and unsure if there'll be a second one in year one.

Rumor is Jordan's deal is for three or four years, probably options, 450 clause with 250 title, etc.

I listened to it throughout my evening routine, and heard Mitch say he "believes" in Austin, but that was mentioned after he proudly stated he has signed up the other two guys, but no mention of Austin putting ink to paper....    Maybe they have not come to contract terms yet?  Or maybe Mitch still "believes" in Austin, but KHI has other thoughts, and are no longer interested?  Not dogging him (Austin), but there has been a helluva pattern going on over the years the paycheck cutting folks may  have grown sick of.  If true, Austin will land somewhere, he's fast as can be.  But his crashes are as brutal as his raw speed.  Not a good combo to have....  especially since he hasn't completed a season since, what, 2017?  2018?  Something has got to give somewhere

that young guy in the SX  futures riding Kawi  Drew ??  (a mate of jetts) wld be the 1st rider i wld be signing...(if he nots locked down already) ?

AF needs a new environment and still has a title in him...........be funny if he ended up at HRC.

Macaddo is all heart but that injury toll is starting to mount.

Seth is a complete mystery to me..............

It isn't Mitch's decision alone, it is a KMC/Mitch decision.  KMC pays the riders, not PC.

Good for Jordon and Triumph. I really like that pairing and it’s exciting that Triumph is bringing in someone who can be competitive for the championship.

Will the Firepower Honda Team be around next year? Dean is in his last season and Anstie is going to Star Racing Yamaha.

I hope so. There needs to be a larger Honda presence in the 250 class especially.

They were a team before Dean and Max. This is Marty’s job. He’ll reload.

Honda is doing just fine in the 450 and has been doing pretty well overall in the last few years. Even when Kenny was their golden boy without crown they had plenty of advertising.

Whether or not the rumor that Star is going to have issues finding money to keep Tomac around for 2025, they need to drop 3 or 4 250 riders anyways. That'll free up a lot of unnecessary spending.

Is Jordan Smith not already 28-29 years old ?

Seems odd they would invest in a guy getting up there in age.

He's 29.

If that's the case, Yamaha can easily find the funds for Tomac. He's a really good salesman.

Brownie wouldn’t let him get away with anything less than 100%

Even Mumford. I hope his deal with MCR isnt SX only as he won't get another shot with a good team not racing outdoors.

Carson’s best bet is trying to get them to build a bike and race the west coast Mx races

2026 would be earliest that could happen I’ve read.

Good deal for the rider, probably filled with opt out clauses.

Add Justin Cooper to the list.

I thought he was on a two-year deal, but he's on a one-year deal.

Tomac hasn't signed anything yet either.

From Weege in Racerhead:

"Who is out at Star? We shall see. I think contracts are up for Nate Thrasher, Nick Romano and Jordon Smith, though I’m pretty sure Thrasher is returning but I’m not sure about the others (Smith might have something else in the works). Anyway, it’s early there for some of these 250 deals."

Ran across this.

Here’s a few rumors for ‘25:

Peirce Brown - Star Yamaha

Jordon Smith - Triumph

Carson Mumford - Firepower Honda

So the video above has some hot takes with Star and PC hmmm. I guess Mumford not racing in Denver explains him riding a firepower Honda if it's true.

Will HRC remain in the 250 for next year? In the post-race interview, Jo will remain on the Team, Hymas is still not sure...

With Hymas possible departure, who should fill the vacancy? Brown? Smith? Forkner? Adams?
