I didn't think Vialle stood a chance at this title at the beginning of the year, but his supercross skills have exponentially gotten better. I look for him to be a big time contender outdoors this year.
I was a bit nervous for him on Saturday, Deegan got really close the one lap and got a little aggressive, but after that Tom never let Deegan get close enough to do anything dramatic.
I'm now a fan, the guy is a great rider and only getting better.
Tom is a great dude and rider. You can tell he has put the work in too. I’m a big fan.
I think Vialle is a great rider, but I think it’s a different picture if they didn’t change the woops.
Nerves of steel to ride mistake free that whole main with Deegan behind him. He had to be thinking about an impending t-bone the entire time
Yes, and if deegan didn't get hammakered or got involved in dumb mistakes and drama. But props to vialle, i didn't expect him to do this well this year.

Wasn’t Vialle in the first turn pileup the first round also?
Ice water in his veins. He killed it.
In it to win it...
Ngl I had no faith he’d be a threat this year. Good on him glad to see KTM get a championship…knock on wood.
Yes, but wasn't hammaker that got bumped into then bumped into everyone else?
Same, I think he's going to surprise people this summer too.
I wasn’t a fan of Frenchy last year, but he’s grown on me to the point that I like to see him do well.
You can tell the hard work that he puts in and that’s enough to earn my respect.
I imagine the heat will be his main issue outdoors, if we get some hot/humid rounds. If he copes with that and gets starts I think he will be a title threat for sure.
I cut him a lot of slack last year on SX because it was his first year, but IMO he should've done a lot more in outdoors. Hopefully he can carry the momentum into nationals. Looks like KTM found something, this past weekend is the best Chase and Vialle have looked all year.
Yeah, but now he will have to run the all out pace at hot and humid rounds, like someone else said, we don't know if he can handle that yet.
2x MX2 champ who’s been grinding in Florida for a year and a half, he’ll be fine outdoors.
Everyone gets the same advantage. Since there are fewer, shouldn't the vets of the class be going even faster through them?
I laugh when they say he’ll be a surprise Outdoors! 2 x MXGP champ ain’t no sleeper in Outdoors!
Phenomenal ride by Vialle in Philly. Truly one of the best of his career. Of course, you’d expect him to move forward from the start he had, but with championship pressure and Deegan hounding him the whole race, it would’ve been easy for it to go sideways. He was agressive, but calculated, and apart from the start he executed everything almost perfectly. Fingers crossed he has a trouble free night in SLC and can bring home the title because he deserves it
Pit Row
Definitely a championship winning ride in Philly. He was hounded the whole race and never cracked. I like the fact he’s not cocky about it either. Keeps his head down and does his thing.
He presents himself as a true professional champion.
Yes but your earlier post was implying that Deegs was behind in points because of that when Tom had the same handicap. Tom overcame it while Deegs continued to have little mistakes throughout the series that were self inflicted.
That was in a heat race. It resulted in a bad gate pick in the main and that's about it. He didn't lose 15 points because of a bad gatepick lol
Except for a couple of races Vialle has been the better rider this season.
You won’t convince them otherwise
You know he lives in Florida, right? Pretty much the entire time he has been in the states hes lived in Florida.
He's gotta be the favorite for the outdoor title this season .
With how Tom is riding right now, I would agree. I think it will likely come down to him, Kitchen, and Deegan, but there are plenty of other fast guys that will be mixing it up.
Yeah but don't they realize this IS AMERICA.
I like watching Tom ride his style is great. He is smooth, but aggressive in the right spots. To me, he is the outdoors title favorite. Looking forward to the Nationals
If Vialle wraps up the sx title and also gets the outdoors (🤞) does that tick enough boxes to be designated legitimate “world” champion for the doubters?that’s only been done once before “JMB”
I had to check ; in 125/250 4 stroke/lites/MX2, it has actually be done only once, by Grant Langston (GP 2000; US 2003).
JMB is the only one that did it in the big class though (he broke his arm while leading the 125 nationals in 1990).
