Bummed for the young man. He had a solid season going finally.

We all knew this was coming after the qualifying crash, the crash in the Main and then DNF... Sucks, we need good riders out there. But I'm not remotely shocked he's out now.

Well shit. I was hoping it wasn't as bad as it seemed but damn this really sucks.

So the same team has a guy that was the class of the field early crash out as the points leader, then has another guy slowly build and take control of the series late in the year, only to crash out as well? Then sprinkle in that Hammaker showed podium capabilities but couldn't stay on the track, either.

We know PC has had a rough go, but man that East region has been especially tough.

I was just going to post the same thing. I remembered Wilson and thought there was another rider or 2 that had broken their scapula but couldn't think who. Thanks aeffertz.

Sucks for Cameron. I hate these late SX injuries because they dig into the riders effort to win an MX title.

This is another example of a reason why the 250 class has some riders that never seem to move up.  When you have a champion talent, you want a championship. Every season with an injury, kicks that goal a year down the road.  Wash, rinse, repeat.

PC rider shellacking continues. FFS.  there are certain cars that make you feel like you're on crack when you drive them (eg s2000). there's got to be something to the PC bike that gives a similar sensation.

Kitchen seems okay other than McAdoo running into him. Shimoda seemed to stay mostly healthy on the PC bike too.

Kitchens is a chillbro. yes on shimotor, but he had alot of pretty boneheaded pass attempts on it.

I am one of of a few here that might actually get your S2000 reference, but you are spot-on.  I had one until we had kids, a very fun little car, but they are more work than a top-end tuned 125 to keep in the powerband which was narrow as all hell. But when you are there, they are a hoot!  It was my first RWD performance car, I went through a set of rear tires in 5K miles, never did that again.  LOL

So nobody thinks McAdoo made a bonehead move in the main with thick traffic taking out Kitchen's front wheel?  Then he rides up high in the berm and takes himself out.  Some say racing incident but for F's sake dude, take out your other championship contender teammate?!?!?

Obviously the practice wreck hurt him and by the interview he gave prior to the main I could tell all his confidence was gone so the injury was serious.

Cam is a super nice guy, tough and hard worker but just like that saying "a leopard doesn't change its' spots..."

Levi drifted as much or more as Cam did.  Cam did not "take out Kitchen's front wheel".

Sad to hear.....this guy deserves a break....gutsy rider..........

4/25/2024 6:09pm

Heart breaking for sure, he made leaps and bounds this year compared to previous years for staying off the ground for that long.

I wonder what Mitch will do with his team, Hammaker has to go he's not factory worthy.

Does PC take a flyer on Evan Ferry?

I have/had high hopes for Vohland, his dad was an awesome racer.  Hope he gets healthy.
