When he can make it through a season healthy, people will start to treat him as a title threat. Until then, I don’t think he should be saying he’s bad news for anyone.

If he had to face Levi Kitchen every week he wouldn't even have a race win yet

I don’t think the sample is big enough to say he’s over hyped or the next GOAT who says Jett.

Just a bad news reminder, Forkner became full-time pro in 2016 and has done 8 sx seasons since. Better let the riding do the talking, son.

Austin needs to learn humility. He ain't won, or proven anything yet, except how to run off at the mouth.

yea hes only won 12 supercross main events ..or maybe its 13

He has had over 27 250 professional podiums... I'd say his riding has done a lot of talking!

Not bad considering he's only raced 34 250SX races.

So he's literally been hurt 50% of his career with no titles and he's out here claiming "I'm the fastest guy in the 250 class" WHEN HE JUST GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL and is OUT for the rest of supercross and beyond. His head took a really hard hit this time.

Checked our for a few days due to family matters.

So....the "off week" winner of what to argue about was Forkner.   I did not see that one coming.

Hope everything is ok with the fam

Thanks.  I appreciate the kind words.   My mom is close to passing.   She was near death and surprised everyone with pulling through, it's not the first time either.   ...but it is just a matter of time now.   She's a fighter and apparently not yet ready to meet her maker.

This must be a tough time for you and your family. Hang in there Magoofan.

Yep, he’s not wrong. It’s just too easy to criticise him when he is hurt… again.

He needs to think and say these things if he wants to get back out there. That’s the motivation and mentality needed to get through hell and back on the track at that level. Winning races.

I would have retired 2-3 seasons ago. But that’s the difference, these guys are warriors. It’s a shame people shit on them so much.

I’ll say it again , 2025 250 SX Champ and he’s gonna be a problem on 450’s in 26 aboard a Ducati.

I would take a bet on him not being the 2025 sx champ in a heartbeat.

Forkner always seems to come back faster after his injuries.  I think that's what sets him apart and will help him to have a great career.  Tough dude and his speed is there.

You realize his career is likely more then halfway over right?

And Chase was NOT the fastest 250 guy. He was gifted his first 250 Title. But he defended that Title very convincingly the next year. He was definitely the fastest in 2020 250 SX.

In 2020 Ferrandis and Austin were both faster than Chase! On the opposite coast!

I got $20 @ 5:1 if your interested. That probably better odds than Vegas will give him.

Who won the shootout? Here I'll help you. Really shocking that Forkner crashed out of this one too, right? And Both East coast guys were 1-2 with faster lap times.

Like the Stewart, he's the fastest until he's not.  I really like Forkner a lot and know he's been through a world of pain over the years, but that's also the reason to maybe just bite your lip.  No reason to pop off now.  That said, I'd love to see him win the nationals this year.

I'm pulling for him to just stay healthy. If he wins any titles whatever. Don't wanna see the guy be wrecked physically and mentally post racing career. We have no clue if he should be where Chase is now though. Chase is a lot bigger than him. And all the troubles AF has had on a 250, him on 450 could be scary. And not in a good way

Austin said he was going 200% percent to win this race as he needed to win the title. Pretty sure he was catching those guys when he went down.

Bad news for Forkner: both coasts are racing tomorrow and he's still bragging on his couch.

As so often before.

Forkner can brag all he wants about being the fastest this year...because he was. He is not bragging about never crashing and never getting hurt.

But you can only come back so many times...injuries play with your mind and he won't keep his amazing speed for much longer. He admits this crash scared him. He may never be as fast again. Age not only slows you physically but mentally too.
