After owning a 2023 Gas Gas MC450F for about 9 months, I can say thats by far the best bike i hve ever OWNED and RIDDEN!!!
Installed KYB conversion, throttle jockey seat cover, my bars, and PC racing airbox seal. JT racelite sprockets, Dunlop 110/90-19 MX12, Renthal diamond grips on motion pro delrin throttle tube. 2018 Kx250f Shock Spring.
Dumped 93 oct fuel in and Rotella T4 every ride, along with DT-1 Filters, bel ray foam filter oil...
BEST BIKE I HAVE EVER HAD AND WILL EVER HAVE!
Where did you learn to put the 2018 KX250F shock spring on from?
Basically anything from the early 90's through to mid 00's, factory or not, you kinda need one of each.
I'm no road bike guy but those Yam R7's were unbelievable, saw a Nori Haga replica at the dealer as a kid, but old enough to appreciate the details, absolutely awesome, jaw on the floor good.
I actually really liked the look of these RM's as well as the last generation obviously.
I even loved the Winfield KX's of Pit Beirer etc, so take what I say with a pinch of salt...

‘89 CR125. Coolest bike at the time when I couldn’t afford it, and had the perfect riding areas.
1981 Suzuki RM250, air cooled full floater. I located one in south Florida, bought it from a sketch meth head weirdo. Restored it … still have it…. Don’t have good photos of it on this IPad…
Always lusted for a 98 KX250. I got one a few years back that is nearly new. I put a KHI cone pipe on it and a few other things and it sits in my shop.
I would like a KX 500 to compliment it.
1991 RM80. I wish I still had mine. If anyone knows where one is for sale send them my way!
Merge racing
89 & 87 cr125 where like cheater bikes. Today the 89 is the bike to race @ Fox Hills . My 87 NSR ported 4 hill climbs was a rocket, I stacked 3 base gaskets to move the power up etc. deep wet sand track a steep down hill into an almost uphill cliff. I pulled 500,s just inching by them. I hit the bottom corner hard enough to ko the wind out of me. Sling shot up the hill part way up then down shifting. The 500,s where wo it sounded Awesome. The track also has a hill climb event.
I'm old and love the late 50s and 60s MX. My Dad had a 58 BSA Gold Star 500cc single in the mid 60s. I learned to ride on that bike and won my first MX trophy on it in 72. He sold it when I joined the Air Force in 76 (yes I was bummed). I have always wanted to find one and restore it to ride some vintage MX (although they are pretty expensive to buy and restore). Here is kind what I wanted to build one too. Maybe one day.
Yep, that was it 👍 I still wouldn’t mind having one today
Here's mine, it's all Tom Morgan'd out.
Pit Row
I drooled over the tricked out DG minis as a kid and I’d still love to have one just to look at it everyday!
