I can't believe they have actually sold enough to have a race!!!!

Definately can not see this taking off.... Sick

Noise = excitement for spectators Wink

Is there any type of motorsport in the world that doesn't have noise? Blink

IF this truly is the future of SX / MX, will it be more rider talent than 'factory bike' components factoring into wins & championships?!

Irrelevant question donman. This will never be the future of SX/MX Wink

Would have been funny if they were all making their own sound.

They need to lower the price. If it was affordable for what it is, people might buy them for a pit bike or kids that can't have motorcycles.

What are they like going up hills?

That english guy sounds as if he's either employed by the company, or a mountainbike racer who has never actually ridden a proper MX bike.

The highest paid professionals will be those who can make the best 'moto' sounds, with their mouth!

If they ever go electric for supercross I'll be wanting the trackside seats so I can hear the rider's trash talking each other in the corners.

Imagine the sound of jlaw and well, most anybody else, going around the track jawing off at each other non-stop.

Oh man. That is weird. Imagine a stadium full of those. You would then have to actually listen to the PA announcer the whole time. Weird.

They could at least put cards on the spokes

It is the future and it's going to get much better.

In time these electric bikes will have a more usable, and faster acceleration that what we are riding today.

I had to mute the TV so I could "hear" it.

"I'd like to thank my electrician, Sparky Die-Hard for getting this bike set up for me..."

You have to either move forward or get left behind.

I can dig it. You guys are quick to complain, but think of all the benefits once the technology advances far enough. No more riding areas closing due to noise, easier maintenance, and friendlier on the environment to boot.

Friendlier on the environment ?? Till you have to dispose of the battery. One thing about regular bikes, when they go to the scrapheap the parts are recyclable.

The riders need to clothespin some playing cards to the spokes.

I like it.. especially if I was a person who had 5acres and couldn't build a track in my backyard because of the noise. It'd be a nice way to get in some extra seat time.
