Electric haters will love this
...let me say the positives first, it's a fantastically great bike. I love it! Rider triangle feels Honda, I love it!
BUT, the throttle response curve, I need to twist it throttle way too much to get full power, I wish there were a way to adjust the 'mapping' that is throttle response curve, so it's not linear but rather ramps up much quicker during the first part of the twist and then tapers off. I feel my CRF250 is easier to ride on a track with the aggressive map since I don't need to turn the throttle that much, wish it was the same with the Varg. Especially out of tight corners or a tricky part before a jump, I don't want to turn the g*d d*mn throttle 360degrees (not really) for full power.
Have you asked Stark to add a feature to change throttle mapping?
Get a quick turn throttle.
my complaint for them is they’re freaking quiet when one is out on the track mixed with regular bikes.
Ive gone to square up lines only to nearly bounce off of one more than once this season already. Idk how to fix that.
Yups, but you know how it is...many suggestions go into product management, then we'll see what comes out during the next 12months

I am sure the E-tards will be along soon to tell you how wrong you are just like they did slowoldguy.
"E-tards" best comment I've seen on here in months.
Don’t think a quick turn throttle will work, maybe but I think it’s fly by wire so I’m not sure it has the typical throttle cam.
Just that fact that those bikes dont sound like a sweet azz 2 stroke , or a great piped 4T, makes them garbage in my opinion. However, Im sorry for hating on your bike. Just a guy that loves the sound of MX. If that ever goes away, I wont be a fan at all.
I don't even want a Stark, but they really live in your head rent-free don't they?
That was the downside I noticed when I rode one on a turn track, very soft off the "bottom" before it takes off. Probably safer but sometimes you want that snap.
If you say so...
Other than reading this board they are zero in my head except when some clown was WFO on 80HP through the pits...
He’s got a point you don’t like the bike but post in every thread about it. And even bring it up in threads that have nothing to do with the stark 🤣🤣
Sure I do...
Just another character assault by yourself on me and more evidence you don't really want a legitimate conversation with me as you love to claim. Seems I am in your head a hell of a lot more than Stark is in mine.
There's always the option to throw in some earbuds and play a looped video of 2-strokes while you ride the Stark.
Imagine @MxAddic if he saw Deegan riding a stark...
Has any aftermarket tuners successfully got in to the stark software and are able to make changes? This is where custom maps and settings from a tuner would benefit. Tell the guy exactly how you want the thing to feel and they can write a program for the thing for throttle response hp and engine breaking. I know the stark can do most of that on the phone but I’m sure a tuner and a lap top can get in to the nitty gritty of everything.
Too bad your imagination has no correlation to reality.
@fourfourone when he see's another @MxAddic post...
I bet that will be coming as more and more are out there.
Pit Row
That’s a funny one, because when you don’t like E-bikes, you truly get the feeling a few guys are spam..., huh, sorry, spreading Stark propaganda all day, everyday.
When you’re convinced that robotic appliance is the perfect weapon to kill the sport, it’s pretty annoying.
Everybody’s after MXaddic, but has anyone ever seen Beagle do anything than post Anton’s press releases or write over and over « The Stark is wonderful, the Stark is great, all hail Stark! » like Nicholson in Shining?
You have to be the most sensitive individual I have ever come across. Character assault this, calling me names that etc. mean while anyone that isn’t entirely opposed to electric Mx bikes is an e-tard. Imagine if I called you R +e-tard you’d have an aneurysm.
and I’ve tried to have a conversation. Like with Eli’s smoking bike. But you wouldn’t lay out your theory on how a shock leaking all its oil would still perform without a hitch.
That should be a pretty easy change to the software.
Another of your lies to make me look bad. Just like vitards (clearly you fall into that group), E-tards require a special kind of stupid and is not all inclusive.
For me and everyone who has rode my Stark it’s the opposite. It has so much coming off the bottom and is so quick off the bottom versus our comparable ICE bikes that take some time to build torque. With the Stark you can clear jumps you never could before because the torque is immediate.
I think it’s this video. AJ clears a massive table to table that he says he could have never hit on his 450.

edit: after thinking about it and reading another post, maybe you mean like for hopping logs and setting your front tire on it. For that I agree, it could be better, or a clutch actually would be great for that I feel. It’s taken an adjustment for me there!
I dunno what you’re talking about. I think the stark is cool but it’s not the holy grail of Mx bikes.
A customer who recently got his was told by Stark that they will have something in the next update that might help. The off road guys who ride at lower power settings wanted to be able to get a quicker response to get the front wheel up over stuff easier. So they are going to have that in the next update.
You might be able to find an aftermarket throttle . It has to be Stark/Electric specific . I have seen some throttles that have the option of a Varg plug . I'll see if I can find a link if any of them offer one that has to be turned less. I have a busy day today though so somebody else might be able to help faster .
As time goes by and they get more data from Varg's out in the wild they will keep adding adjustability . I would not want to try an aftermarket software until the warranty runs out , or if Stark was OK with it. As far as I know , there is not any aftermarket option available right now anyway.
My man you make yourself look bad all on your own I don’t need to assist.
I have the same issue, but I know that a version of the app exists that allows you to create custom maps, it’s just not released yet unfortunately. If you bump up to the 70hp mark it improves the response quite a bit, but then you’re having to tame an insane amount of power everywhere else.
Creating a quick turn e-throttle is tricky because swapping the throttle out on the Varg would require finding a replacement with the exact same hall sensor range as the stock Hirschmann throttle. I’ve looked into it because I’m not a fan of the Hirschmann and I absolutely hate having dead space at the beginning of the throttle (I’m the guy who runs zero play in the throttle on his gas bikes). With our TruMoto controllers at Electro&Co. it’s easy to use pretty much any throttle you want because our phone app has a throttle detection feature that can accommodate a large range of voltage outputs, but no such luck with the Stark app at the moment. This will probably change in the future but for now we’re kind of stuck unfortunately.
Then why do you? Thanks for editing your post after I replied as well...
Pathetic!
You have 1/3rd of the posts in this thread . 9 out of 27 replies so far. Crazy how much time You spend in threads about stuff You dislike. Almost like You just like to argue.
And how many of them are in response to personal attacks on me for making a legitimate post?
