Just curious does anyone know if he was able to actually finish the race? Since he was the last rider not to get lapped it wouldn't matter for scoring. Saw this reel of what appeared to be him trying to finish his last lap on a completely swarmed racetrack
Did jason anderson finish?

I saw a video from another angle and he almost drilled some chick coming across. I think he did hit her a little bit lol. But he cruised on and threw his hand up at the score tower like WTF
Don't know if he finished.....
The bigger picture: This is one more reason why our sport will always be a joke to the rest of the world.
Fans running across an open/live track = Wheelie boys f**king up traffic on city streets.
Yes, he crossed the line, but he wasn’t happy!
I would be pissed! Such a lose lose for him either way. If he abandons the race they could mark him as not completing his lap and if he hits someone they can try and say it was his fault

Spectators entering prohibited areas… and it’s a rider’s fault?? Get a grip.
Soooo many aspects of last nights race looking like a complete shit show.
Fucking ridiculous. Sorry state of affairs from the time Jett started his burnout and that douche grabbed his goggles.
Anderson apparently did finish and was pissed off and on the rev limiter coming up to the line *if you believe Instagram people who were allegedly there*
Reminded me of the issue with fans running across after an F1 race last year.
And mainstream media calling them "dirt bikers".
At that point I think I'd be aiming for people
Time to upgrade the mobile device
I think the riders that had to ride thru the crowd deserve some points…
The AMA needs to review the video and award .1 point per person passed and not hit. That’s 1 point per 10 people.
😂
I can talk shit behind my computer screen, but give me a few drinks and I'm sure I'd be right there with them.
The promoter will learn from this, the same thing happened at the Australian F1 GP a few years back.
I saw him cross the line but he had to do some careful navigating and over revving to get there. I think AC and him were the last two I saw get across after the finish line and work their way through the mayhem. It was a total shit show. I’d love to be a fly on the wall when the safety and security staff meet with the speedway brass Monday morning, if that hasn’t already happened. Be prepared for no more “trackside fan zone” or whatever they call it at the Big D.
You could tell JA was pissed.
How good was Rallying when theyre airborn with spectators on the edge of the track!
Well at least he can take solace in the fact he didn't get lapped. It was close but he did stay on the lead lap.
here’s Schumacher driving through a shit ton of fans on his cooldown lap trying to get back to the pits. I know its not the same as this isn’t technically a ‘live’ race track.

do people look at F1 now and call it a joke of a sport? No.
Pit Row
Ive seen fans on a football field when they were still playing.
It will be ok.
Yeah that famous college game. Then there was that Yankees World Series game. Reggie Jackson was shoulder checking fans out of his way to round the bases
I know not the same but some of the Baja footage or rally in Europe of fans on the road is ridiculous. Amazing to watch.
Back in the good ol' days of the unlimited, group B beasts.
Colin Mcrae clipped one, and sent him cart wheeling.
And he wasn't the only one.
Jason missed his chance.
We were watchi g him trying to ride back to the pits, idiots everywhere and he would rev it to get people to move, i think one fat ass may have shit his drawers, it sucked for anderson but a bit funny to watch.
I don't see a problem with this. If the leader gets a 10 second lead, let 10 spectators on the track to spark up the action a little bit.
Maybe 10 years ago at Daytona, I remember fans jumping the fence at the end of the race and the track was swarmed with people. They at least had the decency to wait until the race was over. The next year, police officers were placed every 20ft-ish apart along the entire fence line and the problem was solved. This remained the norm until last year. No cops meant a track full of fans. All it takes is for one idiot to make the move and others follow. This year’s idiot went waaaay too early. I’m guessing next year we’ll be back to the armed guard scenario.
generally speaking i think most people have lost their minds in the last 3-5 years … never seen anything like it before.
Make an example out of the first one and the rest will stay in line!
I kid, I kid. 😎
Same for today. The renta cops are outa control. Their idea of blocking gates makes 0 sense. Then a nice one lined track (even if it was bone dry) with a poorly placed finish line tops it off. Event has gone downhill from the first one of these i rode.
Hobbies should be things you do to escape real world bs, quit dragging politics into moto threads
Not pickin sides: Not too late to clip your own political posts before those making them get clipped themselves.
Take it down to Non-moto.
