Masterpool. How’s he going to finish.

Best I'd say 15th but will probably get a good start

Considering Hunter Lawrence missed the first main of the season, making the main has to be Ty’s first priority 

There were dudes here shit talking Kawi for not firing Anderson and AC and hiring Masterpool, claiming that Masterpool was superior to both, so I'd expect he should be running right around the podium right?

If he’s riding 450s, he’ll have a spectacular night if he makes the main.

would rather he just hung back and waited til moto season to unleash. hes good to watch outdoors.

I'd say it's unlikely he qualifies for the main. He had difficulty qualifying for regional 250 mains last year, and he's coming into SX half way through the season, against a mostly healthy 450 field.

I think just qualifying for the main via his heat race will be considered a successful evening. 

The effects of the normalization and legalization of marijuana use are evident amongst this forum's posts at times, isn't it? Masterpool would do well to get up to Anderson's speed and AC's accomplishments. Hope he can get near.

Big fan of the guy and hoping for the best. But I dont have high expectations.  Supercross has been a rough go. 

Ty has not been riding very much and hasn't been able to do much cardio either. Starts will be the best part of his race. A smooth consistent heat race could be the highlight of his evening. If he makes it to the main, it will be another smooth consistent race with lap times several seconds off his pace past lap 12-15. Survival is the key at this point. If the ankles hold up, he will have to race himself into shape throughout the season.

I can see him not making the main. He struggled in 250’s. His outdoor season puts a lot of high expectations. 

I'd like a link to the threads saying he's better than Anderson. I can see reactionary people on here saying he should be hired over AC because of his injuries 

I know it's not real sx but I thought he looked pretty good in SMX. 

He's capable of top 5 starts, and that's big in this season of SX.  With a couple decent starts, I can see him top 15.  No start and making the main won't be easy.

I still say around Derek Drake. 16-20

How he finishes depends on how he feels, what kind of shape he is in.  In good health/riding shape, 10 ten.  My guess he is not at his best.  Will make the main but won’t finish all that good.

Well I don’t think he makes the main,  he needs to hopefully just not get hurt

Saw him this week. Top 15

His goal is to make mains and get points where he can while he gets into shape. He’ll battle in the top 10 all season outdoors, so he needs to get points for the SMX money anyway he can get them. 

Yeah, he definitely did. Gonna be interesting to see how he will do coming into a season where everyone is already in full swing mode. Maybe him doing so great during SMX was a result of coming off such a strong outdoor series and carrying all this confidence, but I think he looked better on the 450 than on the 250 in general. I don't see top 10th finishes in this field but making the main and then some top 15th finishes would be a great start!

16-22 for his first time out with a win in the LCQ.

I'd love to see AC out and Masterpool IN at Factory Kawasaki.

Looks to me like he's only ever qualified for 5 main events in a regional 250 class with an average finish of 15th....3 of those were speedway races which should suit him better than a traditional SX....the Vault doesn't show how many he has failed to even qualify for the Main in..... and we got folks saying he should get a Factory Kawi 450 ride.  What a time to be alive.
