I always wear (or "wore", these days) cycling shorts under my race pants. One time, I rode a moto (at Millville, no less) wearing LBZ baggies and boxers beneath. The lack of support was brutal. Cam is an ironman, for sure. Macadoo? Macadon't!!!

On a kind of related note, has riding gear quality gone down? I feel like standard gear was more durable 10+ years ago when I used to ride a ton. I just started riding again recently and all of the gear on the shelves feels so thin and flimsy, I could imagine a simple tip over tearing through some of these $150 pants
