Jalek looked good and put on a pretty good charge to get back into qualifying position.

Ferry actually looked better than what I was expecting and could have qualified straight from the heat but went down off camera.

I thought it was a Bobby Hewitt thing.  Hewitt signed Ferry to the Rockstar husky amateur deal and Hewitt is loyal to guys he signs as evidenced by signing Swoll to Triumph also.

People who have ridden for Bobby Hewitt seem to be VERY loyal to him.

We’ll see but he doesn’t look ready to me.  I think it’ll be tough for him to get in.

Their bikes look really good. Definitely impressed with how fast they seem this early on.

Both are in the main. Huge success!!! The bikes look like they turn really well and have decent HP. Although power is kind of tough to tell on this track, LOL

swoll in 11th place thus far, hopefully a few adjustments and he can improve that some.  I really am hopeful they do well and eventually introduce us with another 350 but with Kyb 🤞

Looks like Triumph was wise to choose the 250 East Regional to make their debut.

On the other hand Beta has a tougher road being in the 450 class.

Looking forward to Ducati as well.

That actually means more than people think. Very good day for Triumph. Extremely intriguing and they seem to be doing this correctly

What a great night for Triumph!

Great debut other than Evan Ferry getting crushed in first turn.

That crash looked like Bradshaw pinning Chicken in Paris from years back...

Be interesting to see how they do in test and shootouts.  They looked like solid racing scooters today.  Both riders got punted but still held their own.  Ferry looked better than I’d have guessed.

Showed better than Beta.

The media should be all over the first race for Triumph. They should be promoting the crap out of it! In order to grow the sport they need more manufacturers! There have been not one word about Triumph in practice or qualifying.

They did a ~15 minute interview with Bobby and another one of the managers at the beginning of the 250 east coast rider press conference, they talked about it during RDL, did a segment on Swoll on RDL and talked about it all night long on the race broadcast. What the hell else do you expect them to do? I swear, the people that say “grow the sport” never know what the hell they’re talking about.

Beta is getting in the main events, that is already a nice achievement. Both are new manufacturers in supercross, but there ends the equation. Triumph has more financial and R&D resources because it is a bigger manufacturer. Beta is a little Italian manufacturer that needs to fold back on their knowledge they gained in "Enduro". That is probably why Beta has a great and easily to handle bike but the horsepower isn't there (yet). Triumph can hire lots of good people to help them with handling and building powerful engines is something they did before, for Moto2 but also for other Road & Closed circuit racing.

This all should in fact also inspire someone with loads of money to buy TM, the motorcycles part. Great R&D but they don't care about sales because they are only interested in their Kart Engines.

I think the Brits surprised some folks today. Looked good when someone else wasn't punting them. Solid.

You'd think Britain isn't the motorsport engineering capital of the world by the way some people speak about Triump's effort.
