“It’s a must situation”

I’ve always wondered if this is a common phrase elsewhere in the US, or an exclusive Rickyism. I’ve never heard anyone else in my life say it, and have to assume it’s the latter. If it is a Rickyism, why hasn’t someone on the production staff told him “Hey dude, that’s a made up phrase that doesn’t make much sense” 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve heard the phrase before.

Edit: maybe I am thinking, A must  win situation. ?

I don't really care what words he uses. I appreciate his insight and the dimension he adds to the broadcast. Remember, we could have Todd Harris...

Give us an example of where he has shared any actual insight?  Stew owned him during outdoors when they were together providing analysis that was badass and useful.  RC cannot put a sentence half the time.

And Todd Harris was not the analyst so that comparison is silly.

Ralph and Todd Harris are a low bar to compare RC too.

I just tune in to hear what new word(s) he introduces to the English language.

A truly underappreciated savant.

Insight? Dimension? Like racing wheelbarrows in the mud?

Seriously though, can you give one example of Ricky stating anything other than the obvious?

The guy is a legend but this just isn’t the right place for him.
