Might as well cancel 250 lcq and just take everyone from the heats. That is terrible schedule for 250s....

Man I hope Fat guy in a flannel shirt is on the show. I want to see what kind of insightful wacky things he can come up with this year.

Usually when the qualy's are flipped, so are the mains...  That's interesting.

NBC sucks balls. They put the popular 450 class first for heat races to get you to tune in initially. Then they don't race 450 Main for another 2 hours so you watch for the entire program? What TF are they even thinking? Of course we're going to watch the whole broadcast, just don't fkn blue ball us the 450 Main for a delayed 2 hours..

If you’re buying & selling ad revenue or producing the racing series, you want a format that encourages people to watch the whole program. If they put 450 heats and mains first, casual viewers are less likely to watch anything that follows

Not sure they're going to grow the sport when fans suffering from Jett fatigue are booing him.... Laughing

Dude, you truly have an unhealthy obsession with the Lawrence’s. Odd behavior by anyone, let alone a grown-ass man.

But the 450 mains are last turning everything upside down. Like I said, 250 lcq going right to the gate for the sight lap in 10 minutes

So we're assuming that these casual viewers (that none of us have ever actually observed in real life) know enough to be able to tell the difference between a 250 and a 450?  If these supposed viewers are really that clueless then it makes no difference whos on the screen, a motorcycle is a motorcycle to them so I'm not understanding the logic of inverting the heats.

Presumably the announcers would make it clear that this is the premier class and that the following classes were not? Seems pretty obvious

A 10 minute turnaround for the guys in the 250 lcq is ridiculous. Have the dolts who made this schedule thought about running for office?  They’d be a natural.

In fairness its probably 5 mins more than the turnaround in mains at the WSX! Lol

guys being interviewed between motos at the start line out of breath with a mechanic working frantically to get the bike sorted.

its far from ideal!

I get that but the logic doesn’t really hold for me.  We’re going to change the schedule around on the off chance that someone who knows nothing about dirtbikes just happens to tune in right at the beginning of the broadcast and is so captivated by 450s rather than 250s that they stick around for the 450 main hours later?  If I’m showing someone supercross who has never seen it before I’d probably show them the 250s anyways, they don’t know any of the riders regardless and the racing is usually more aggressive and exciting in the 250 class.  Hell, the futures race was the most exciting of the night last weekend.

Don't bring logic into this. Feld and the AMA don't like it!

I've always took casual viewers as someone who has heard of supercross, and knows Jett, Eli, Cooper, etc. Not some random person who flipped through the channels and continues to watch it.
