Who is the Shimoda hater/realist

I’d consider myself a Paul P hater/realist.

to be fair he'd still be in the championship hunt if his bike didn't blow in SF.  But yea, until he can come out of the first turn top 5 it'll be hard to win championships, even if he is one of the fastest in the class this year.

I thought it very much sounded like JT and it would make sense he'd want to maintain plausible deniability. If it was Paul I think he'd just say it. Guesses of course....

This is imo the reason he always chokes. People like RJ lose sleep over every mistake they make. Jo’s just there to get a pay check. If he’s never followed racing, it makes sense why he can’t be bothered to watch some film and analyze proper starting technique. He doesn’t care about the sport enough to risk getting injured by being aggressive in the start, hence why he gets shuffled back so easily.

His lack of care is also proven by how dgaf he seems about his current results. Watch his insta, he’s posting vids of him dancing in his Tesla without a care in the world

I just looked at his Instagram and saw nothing of the sort. A lot of self-observations about needing to get better. The guy is just a few races in on the Honda, right? You're acting like he just apathetically fell into his racing career, which seems pretty ridiculous.

I sort of thought all along the Shimoda realist was Daniel Blair or Paul Perebijnos. But the DBO guess is not bad either.

I thought it sounded more like JT but could be Paul for sure too.  They are right though and I really like Sushi and hope he finds the missing piece.

Left field but I think it might be Zac Osborne… JT and Paul are quite articulate when they speak which the realist spoke well but wasn’t as crisp as the other two,  Steve has mentioned previously he is a former high level rider plus I don’t see Paul or JT commenting that it’s easy to win races when your 30 points down.

I was thinking RV.  I thought Steve said it was a rider with multiple championships. 

On the youtube podcast, it said Jason thomas on the playlist bar just before you come up to the bit then it changed to "shimoda realist" and honestly listening to it. I've heard too many pods with JT that I know that was JT just by how he speaks.

Listen to his interview with Gypsy Tales, or whenever he talks about Lorettas with Weege. Basically said that he didn’t even know about Lorettas, his dad just packed the bike and told him they were going bc that was his dads passion

Immediately could tell it is JT - sounded like JT with a disguised voice but def JT, he used a few words that just made me recognize it was him, hard to explain.

Agreed. I think it’s Denny Stephenson. Maybe Truman, but I think he works with hrc. Or did so that would surprise me. 

Denny wouldn't need to use a different name, he posts whatever he thinks on Twitter.

I’m guessing there’s a reason why “Renthal Paul” wouldn’t want to be seen as bagging on Shimoda. 

Yeah if yo read DBO's twitter, he's also a Shimoda realist, but he's not the one Steve is referring too. DBO is an open realist, Steve's guy is still in the closet.

You could ask JT, whats better big boobs or little boobs and he be like

"Well, is it tuesday or thursday? Is the sun shining on them or is it night time? I can only make a decision based on what I know and I just need more info before I decide."
