Though he struggled..it seems like every triple crown he struggles. But damn was he fast!! I was scared all night in the set of whoops before the start straight. Was getting loose there all night
I was told Jett only had to ride at 80%
Is it too early to say we have a new james stewart on our hands?

LoL! He's definitely a different rider in mx vs sx. Which he's always been. The growing pains really shouldn't be a surprise
Based on what everyone was saying after 1 (17-0), growing pains should be a surprise
Rc, stewart. 24-0
An overreaction to his winning A1. Some were smart enough to say, hey let's see a little more here. I can admit I bought in on the hype. Still have no doubts in his future. I don't see a runaway on this season though
People have short memories. There have been more 250 champs with unfulfilled 450 promises than not, some of them still racing now, some considered all time greats even with no 450 SX championships. Jett will win many races over his career, no doubt. But in the meantime he needs to get some fucking humility, slow down the hype machine, be willing to take some top tens, and respect his fellow racers. If things continue the way they are it could lead to a short career. All this shit talking about being an all time great could destroy this young man, it needs to stop. Wait five years or so.
You could definitely see that.
At A1 he was methodical...last night was frantic. He's rattled because things aren't going the way his people have been telling him.
He'll get better, no doubt of that....but the dominance of outdoors doesn't seem likely in SX.
Before the season started I pointed out he crashed quite a big in SX over the last two years and I got laughed out of that thread lol
Jeez the hate in this thread is strong.
Rookie wins his first supercross. Now he’s crashing like he did in 250SX, not a surprise.
Goes 22-0 outdoors. Doesn’t matter who else wasn’t there. Sexton took Tomac down to the last Moto in the prior year. Unless you argue Sexton was NEVER race ready due to the early season concussion, Sexton should have at least pulled a Moto out of Jett as he did with Eli. But Sexton didn’t, so no depleted field BS.
Not a fan but you gotta respect the results and expect he will have issues in SX.
I said something about him not making it through the season in another thread and got down voted like crazy.
He just continues to crash each weekend. One of them is going to bite him sooner or later.
What's your point here? Are you trying to imply I'm anti American rider? fuck you're insecure.
My favorite riders are these guys of all time.
RV
JS7
RC
Webb
Herlings.
I go to Unadilla every year. Sexton gave Tomac the business there in '22. I thought for sure thats where he would get a moto or an overall from Jett last summer. Not even close. Jett put it on him.
It’s the same thing every year… big name rookie moves up and he is never going to lose again… 9/10 times it’s the same story, rookie goes through growing pains in their first year.
I swear some of you probably are crowning champions and writing off guys by each turn of the race.
Whats your point, same as mine. Insecure, look in the mirror ,you are the one triggered by a comment on vital. 22-0 has nothing to do with 450 sx .
Same here. No one would listen to me when I said, "are we still talking about the same Jett Lawrence?" The kid crashed all the time last year during supercross, and every year before that. Then he goes and finds a lucky horseshoe during outdoors, gets the title and people come back with "what were you saying dumbass". Supercross is not the same thing as Motocross. Jett would have never went undefeated last summer if people were healthy.
Pit Row
2 mud races & a triple crown... and this is what people are like.
enjoy it now. Because i remember How good the GOAT was in his first few years of SX.
"People?" One rider. Tomac. That's it.
Did you just allude to Jett being the next GOAT? First, he's going to get to and beat 72 and now he's going to top 150. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
He's one of only 3 riders to have a perfect motocross season, IF he gets another one, he would be one of only two riders to have two perfect motocross seasons.
No thats just a delusion in your head that you want to believe he said.
hahahaha
This is our society these days. Anointing a team or an athlete as the best there ever was and will be before they have even begun to sniff greatness or being a dynasty. I'll say it again that Jett is definitely incredible, but we have seen this before and so get back to me when he gets even halfway to MC or RC or Eli or RV or James etc.
Stuff like this cracks me up. Like it's some forgone conclusion that Jett is going to be the next GOAT.
While I agree that he's the next "guy" he has a LONG way to go before he would even be in the conversation for GOAT.
LoL!
Dude crashed all the time last year in supercross and still won 6 of 10 races and was never off the podium. Reality.
RC spent 2 years on the small bikes for SX, Jett raced that class for 4 years...
Maybe if RC hadn't been so dominant on 125s he could've been like Jett and waited twice as long to race the big boys
Jett hasn't proven he is the best there ever was, only time will tell, but he has proven he is one of the greats by having a perfect rookie 450MX season.
Round 5 6/11
