In my opinion… it is kind of obvious what took place. This is also the start... not a middle or end.
1 Jettie had a great our door season. Helicoptered in from the 250 class to 450 out doors and killed it.
2 Established riders (Eli, Jason, Bam Bam, Cooper Web…. Etc.. etc) did not like the attention he was getting as the “next new thing”. This is not a bad thing by itself. By itself it’s part of the game. But team Jettie …. They did not play it humbly. They crowed about it… NOT SMART.
3 In the off-season veterans more than likely heard
from agents “xyz company wants Jettie… Your value is not as high. Can you beat Jettie?””They won’t pay you XYZ.. They will pay this”. “You are not as valuable as Jettie to sponsors”. This will not go well on the track they thought. When is the first race? I have a target now.
4 Jettie’s camp fueled the flames by not being humble and wise…. IMO. Purchasing Ferrari’s for Each brother Showing them on social media (hey look at me… look what I got!). Really? Who is in their ear.. telling them this is a good idea? It is napalm for the competition. Fuel. Irks them .. They should be pissed ..What do you think they are going to do?
5 Omara is not stupid. He coaches Jettie and Hunter. He knows that the completion is irked. He’s seen it. Irked completion creates enemies. And he … I speculate here. may have suggested to Jettie not to be a wimp. “If you get messed with .. you cannot take it laying down. You need to send a message”.
Also, I think Jason Thomas talked about this exact issue in a preseason pod cast. Basically, the competition (vets mentioned) will not be nice. especially in Supercross where there are plenty of corners and block pass opportunities. Were seeing exactly what JT talked about!
6 David bailey talked on a pod cast about frozen Vince and his behavior. Basically, he said. He wouldn’t put up with it. It’s the behavior of the pack. This should come as no surprise to anyone.
7 So with this all as a backdrop… do you not think that Eli, Coop, Jason. Bambam…etc have not discussed this situation off line? They know their income is being affected. Spot light is on Jettie. You think they are going to let him go unchecked? Un blocked passed (hard)? Un brake checked (hard)? Pushed to the outside of a berm or start? They are simply waiting for the opportunity.
8 What you just saw with the first check. I suspect Jettie is about to learn what RC talked about years ago. You do not want a bunch of enemies in the field as you may need a favor working your way though the pack - especially for a championship. You think Jettie gets a favor? From who?
And if a self-absorbed Ferrari driving rookie grabbed me by the shoulder and then grabbed the front of my helmet and shook it.. as Jettie did… What would you all have done?

Literally talking about it on the last page. I would love to get some back story there. That's Ando's mechanic, what's whining to him going to do? Look he's a kid. I love everyone that thinks he should have it all figured out at 20yrs old. He's an amazing rider. I think he's going to win the title, although I'm not as certain as I previously was. I definitely get the feeling that since he's the fastest guy, he thinks these guys should move over for him.
