This thread forgot its morning adderall…
So every time you jump a table top do you call it a single jump or a double jump.
Hold on, the little Keyboard warriors, A1 said 'this is the start of the unbeaten season'. What happened? Where are you all now? Mommy holding your hand?
So does RC

It's simple. You don't count imaginary landing slopes. If you did, you can "imagine" as many as you want, between here and there. In that case, I clear sextuples all the time.
A table is a filled in double
A table is its own thing. It has infinite landing points. If you clear it clean on the downslope, it's still a single.
Dig it out between, if you want to call it a double.
Should I start a separate Jett thread to find out if he's injured or not? People caring about the triple/quad thing so much? Oof
That initial reaction doesn't look good at all.
Was he waving his wrist in the air or is it flopping?
So if there is a single single table
I think everyone agrees that to land on the table would be tripled onto the table? (Landing on the table is the third possible landing spot).
and if that’s the case why is it an issue to call it a quad when you jump over the table landing on the downside? (Landing on the fourth possible landing spot)
being able to land on a table (which isn’t possible with a normal single “mound of dirt”) is what changes it from a triple to a quad.
triple onto the table….quad over the table…makes sense to me.
I cannot understand why so many of you care about how a jump is classified. 9 pages of this shit???
I call it a table...but it's just a single jump. I'm not jumping over two mounds of dirt, I'm jumping over one.
The look on Phils face after he first roast the people who can count and call it a tripple and then get told that the goat call it a triple to is priceless.
This is just another american way to hype something up so it sounds more badass then what it is.
And it’s scary how the home schooled pro’s never got tought the difference between 3 and 4.
And a whoop section is a loooong ass not filled table! 🤡
Ok, So a step up table is actually a quad because it's 4 mounds filled in with dirt?
RC compares motorcycle racing to wheelbarrows.
Bwhahaha!!! I’m sure most non-moto peeps out there comprehend the wheelbarrow comparison and now know exactly what racing a YZ450 feels like - especially if they have direct wheelbarrow experience from a recent mulch job in their yard.
Pit Row
So anytime a finish line has a tabletop landing, you call it a triple? I don't think so
Correct. However, the table being the FIRST jump in a rhythm, it should always be considered a single. By fist jump I mean using the table’s take off to clear following mounds of dirt
but for Vital’s sake we can call the formation of 3 mounds of dirt, regardless of “landings” a triple and if some of the, pound my chest guys, want to add proposed “landings” on three mounds of dirt, it can be forever called a “griple” (gripe+le). Have fun!
Back on the rails
Hope Jet is OK
Jesus Christ people. Who cares whether it was a triple quad or double.
The point of the thread - is Jett hurt?
Anyone have any new info?
The team made a post yesterday saying Jett is fine.
Triple, Quad...Sure. But what do you call the quad + 1 ?? a quint?
I think Quable is a better representation of this situation and the obstacle in question.
Someone’s gotta ask the OG quad god James Stewart what is defined as a quad or not for the definitive answer #stewable
FFS, that’s a QUAD
That settles it. Can we move on please...
Remember the time they interviewed Villopoto on the live broadcast and he said he would be racing Hangtown but then went MIA, had knee surgery, and disappeared to race the MXGPs...?
