With batteries included and no assembly required, Jack Brunell took the overall in the arenacross Rd1 in Manchester.  Justin Bogle riding another Stark took 6th O/A.

If they allow electric why not allow twin 250cc two strokes? 4 cylinder 450Fs?

So they can weigh the same as the Stark!?

Besides they'd have more parts for failure and repair costs.

IDK, sound triggers the testosterone, so much a part of the racing experience. Silence for local tracks to remain open...yes.

You're missing the point here slightly. Any win for Stark at any competitive level is good news for the sport and worth shouting about.

For comparison, Harri Kullas who participated in few  AMA mx rounds was second.

How can Bogle go from being an AMA Supercross champion to 6th in British arena-cross,

I'm not saying there isn’t good riders at the UK AX but it’s like comparing ama motocross with the British motocross championship,

it’s not even a comparison.

Either way it’s great for Stark but when it got announced the Bogle was riding i thought he’d wipe the floor with the rest of the field who don’t even really compete in sx/arenacross mostly only mx

Have you seen the last few years for the guy? He never came back right from a bunch of concussions and stuff. Plus, he walked into a strange race on a strange bike, not that surprising.

Congrats to Stark and Brunell.

Third class championship, county fair track, and icing on the cake, all the semi fast guys sent home.

Really, I'm amaaaaazed, especially for a brand who was supposed to shake the MXGP world in 2023.

Man, and I thought Anton was a high class gentleman leading a premium brand.

Actually, funny karma return: while Blazu's excluded for riding a Stark, their first win comes thanks to a rule that excludes all foreigners not racing the british MX championship and a Stark special exemption for Bogle... I suppose I won't hear Tortelli cry about tweaking the rules on this one.

Between electric bikes going mainstream and an Aussie Gen Z kid dominating US moto, some guys are gonna need alot of tissues to wipe away the tears over the next 10 years.

I think the glimpse of the future was actually better in Anaheim.
You know, the place where Anton would have liked to see his bike race...

Well he got Manchester instead.

Obviously it's not something I give a rats ass about. Be careful if you play with your hotdog and your axe at the same time.

AX UK is certainly not AMA SX, that being said for his very first race on the Varg, Jack Brunell won in front of Harri Kullas, that gives a little indication of the championship level.

Kullas has a few national titles under his belt, internationally he got top6 last year on his very first AMA race, he also has a few top 10 in MXGP as a wildcard. That is Stark competition in this championship, and that's pretty fast in my book.

That being said, the sooner the AMA allows Stark to race in SX, the sooner we'll really know what he Varg is worth against the best, and no one would be happier for that to happen than Stark.

Maybe the AMA needs a little bit of time to do it right but when you see Stark competing SX in UK, France, soon Australia and possibly others, that will become tougher for the AMA (or the FIM) to justify keeping them out.

Maybe we'll see a Stark against some top competition at the Paris SX '24. That would probably be the biggest and easiest to get into race for them.

The bike isn't real and the company is a scam

The bike might be real but it probably sucks

People seem to like the bike but they'll never actually deliver customer bikes

Maybe they delivered some bikes but nobody will race them

Ok they might race them but they'll never win over gas bikes

Alright so they might have won but that isn't a real series

Hmm, I wonder what the next step is in this pattern for you retards that have been wrong over and over again from the very beginning. . .

If this Brunell character got his hands on a Stark, he must be fast, articulate, and good looking.  I seem to recall that’s a requirement for delivery this early in the E-bike game.

It would be great to see them race Paris SX but I'm not sure it would be any easier than racing AMA. For some reason at Paris SX 23 Stark got restricted to racing only the SX2 national races and not the international races.

Anyway 2024 will be interesting for Stark, in addition to AX UK they should race in France though no words from FFM for 2024 yet but I'm hoping to see Stark racing in SX1 instead of SX2 (like they did as non-scoring wildcards in 2023), and possibly France MX. Racing AUS SX should be pretty cool, maybe some AUS MX races as well, and probably some other national championships, let's see how it goes.

I forgot about the drama at Paris sx '23, thanks for reminding me. We'll, I hope they can race a proper supercross with proper competition at some point soon. If honda and ktm can cobble together some prototypes I'd love to see an electric only class against the big players.

This isn’t news! The FIM and AMA aren’t going to allow the E-bikes race against the current bikes. NOT going to happen.
