Even though it has been tempting sometimes, I don't buy any critical weigh/stress bearing chinesium parts. My NiceCNC rear master cylinder protector broke after 40hours. A part what you might think to last forever as long as there is material left to wear

How do you find specs for bolt torque and valve clearances?

I'd recommend to try Y4 needle. It's been best for me I did not get those CCx or N3xx needles work as good. Tried several.

In this part of Europe we have had delivery problems for years. Kind of "alway buy some when you see it in stock"
I highsided shoulder first to a jump face last year and cracked a collarbone. Had Leatt logo in my shoulder for over a week. I believe without shoulder protector it would have been way worse I trust Leatt style undershirts which have only shoulder and elbow protection (3DF etc), maybe light kidney belt. Then a chest/back protector over shirt. Fox...

So the solenoid valve is supposed to close power valve circuit when powered. Today out of curiosity I measured YZ125 2022 as following: ~24 Ohms resistance, 12V click test ok. Input voltage 0,5V at idle and 23V after 1/8 throttle. Connector plugged I got ~7V at rpms Isn't it working the opposite as it should? Has anybody else measured input...

Kawi's been over it for 20 years. Yamaha on the other hand, seems to be doing quite nicely and never got the memo that the 2 stroke was dead.

I originally had 4.0 and 5.5 Mikuni OEM slides but the 5.5 lost it's plating so I used it as reference for grinding(and initial test fitting with sockets) with and would say definitely it was also wider, but not deeper. So I kept the "edge of the barrel" about in the same place
If I remember right, it's a a straight cylinder shape "bore" so you can use correct size socket for test fitting. As rough example - if xx mm socket(OD) fits snug to 4.0 cutout, use xx +2mm for test fitting 5.0 shape. Also follow scraped 1mm line at the front. Combine top right and bottom left of your drawing Smile

Pretty much the same as Atojos without SRS. Atojos have worked great for me +200hours and just bought a spare part set(pivots, soles etc) to get another 200h Much more support than Tech7, but still close to zero break in time. I also have new unused Crossairs and there is only very little difference to my old Atojos in the...

My guess is that intake box is only modified so that it fits same throttle position sensor as in yz250 which has cable pointing downwards. But just a guess.

I got my slide from https://www.ktmschnellversand.de/ . Might have been the last one as it seemed to be very old stock. KTM part number is 54631235055, good luck. Maybe the #7 slide will work too as it is still standard in 2026 but haven´t tested. Check the other thread for needle holder information, you need different non-spring-loaded needle holder too...
