Wow. I would’ve thought the teams had them park it since Tuesday.

I just can’t stop wondering if Prado is somehow top 3-4 in points do they really send him back over after round 3?

U can stop wondering. It's not going to happen. In the GP's (his own discipline) there's 3 guys that have him covered speed wise, nevermind in SX.

I'm a fan and extremely excited but being realistic makes this whole thing way more enjoyable. 7-10 would be a massive win and I think would make him a shoe in for 2025.

It looks like most of the top guys were spinning some casual laps today.

Here's a video of the Lawrence's and Ferrandis from today.

Does it matter?

The whoops at Anaheim (and every other SX) will be more torn up than that after one Heat race.

Just going off that video, compared to Jett and Hunter, he seemed to bend his right arm down alot more after dumping the clutch, which seemed to throw him off balance

He could benefit from a slightly higher regrip before the gate drops.

Which 3? He is the current World Champion and, if I remember well, he did it leading the whole Championship. The only one who was not in the 1st gp was Gajser, so there are no excuses, he was the best in 2023 MXGP World Championship.

He will not be in the top 3-4, but even though he was up there, he would have to go back to Europe for the GPs pre-season. KTM has at this moment the number #1 in AMA SX, MX2 and MXGP World Championship, I do not think they would let go one of them...

I have him on the podium before he goes back. We will see over the next 3 weeks.

I was told that there would be no more than 10 whoops in a set this year.

In terms of raw speed you would say he's slightly of herlings , febvre and gajser , but consistency wins championships , I also agree I think top 3-4 is a massive ask , in all honesty I think 8-12 would be good he's been riding sx for 3 months 👍

Looks like Prado is still on the old frame. That lines up with the JS7 podcast saying Gas gas likes the old frame better than the new one.

Rumor say Chase really enjoy the new frame. AP as well. The GasGas is not a red KTM.

Keefer said the Gasgas had more comfort when the factory edition came out last year. The aluminum subframe is probably more flexible than the composite one.

Man I wish they would announce stuff like this lol
I was like 10 miles away from Hemet while they were there riding. Caught Sexton doing some laps in Murietta though. Looks really good but Mookie smokes him in the whoops. Didn't see any front end washes
