I need to listen to the pod again but here’s a question I have. So I live in Illinois and get to play but typically go on vacation a couple times in January and February. Does it matter what my location is when I pick my team or just during sign up? This would also affect players that travel for work on a regular basis.
Location at time of picks. Have to be physically in location where it's legal at the time you submit.

The application says its specific to the player count in Colorado. I'm hoping it is just that they didn't get the application filled out in time and Colorado will be added soon.

Why WI is able to play?
So I wasn’t paying close attention while listening to the pod so forgive me if covered. Did they get a letter or something saying they were breaking the law? Did US government say something or did each state for some reason all of sudden question them? Did they just decide to check into the legality of their game? Did a disgruntled person turn them in?
Meh... just don't become obsessed with it and it's fine. Same with gambling. If you do it right it can only add to your enjoyment of the sport. Takes aspects of it that you would otherwise have no interest in and gives you something to watch and root for.
Like most things, it's the people that go nuts with it that make it look ridiculous.

I listened to the pod and without paying super close attention; we don’t care about your address, your place of residence or any of that , all we care about is the location data your device ( be it phone or pc) provides us with. To me this translates to « use a vpn you dipshits ».

Anyone getting ExpressVPN to work? I installed it and put my location as Atlanta, GA (really in Maine) and it’s still saying location not allowed. Wasnt sure if there is something else I need to do to get it to work or if I’m just shit out of luck 🤣
