Many of you assume you know their contracts and pay/bonuses.  It could be a family deal and there is huge upside for Honda if that's the case.  I believe Hunter adds a level of comfort for Jett and vice versa as they work together to succeed as a family.  It has worked great so far.

On the other hand, the other thread making it sound like Eli is coming in behind Jett is laughable considering Jett has yet to race a 450SX.

Why is it so laughable when Eli himself is coming off a season ending injury and hasn't raced in months?

How is he on the test track time wise (and don't say 2 seconds a lap faster, lol)??

I just hope they all come in healthy, in-shape and ready to do battle 100%. Then when the gate drops, we will all see who will be chasing who.

Eli coming back from an injury is not anywhere close to comparable to Jett never racing 450 SX and being the favorite.

How would any of us know test track times and that also doesn't always translate.  Example:  Christian Craig has always been know to be fast as hell in practice.  He is just one of many examples

I get where you’re coming, but it’s not as if we haven’t seen Jett on a SX track on a 450 at all; there’s been three rounds of SMX and Paris. He’ll be at the front, as will Tomac, looking forward to it!

I 100% agree he will be at the front and he might be there far too often, but I am hoping for some legendary battles.

I think the Lawrence family knows a good thing when they see it. Team Honda HRC and Jett and Hunter are the #1 and #2 riders making Millions on the best team and bikes.  They have the same bike and support, changing teams is not going to benefit Hunter Lawrence and simply put Hunter Lawrence training Hunter Lawrence to beat his little brother is the challenge and motivation, but if the Championships don't happen,he's got his Hot! wife to comfort him.

i didnt start anything, i didnt made up anything, i didnt even personalized anything.......

i dont like the atitude that can be seen here, there and everywhere, of pressing the issue of bad vibes and evil between the two brothers......i read their story of life, and i have a ton of respect for what that family did to succeed, their story has been all over here, everybody knows..... portuguese top mxracer, Rui Goncalves, was similar, parents sold everything, quit jobs, guether all the money they could, to go and live in a campervan, in a new country, new language and pay to ride, in search of a mx2 ride.....i can understand how hard it is to live away, new language, and fight for a survival......i have the upmost respect for those who do it.....

so i dont like what i read here, i dont like a lot of opinions here, so i speak my mind....i didnt personalized anyone, i just gave my opinion on what i read.....

am i right???, am i wrong ????......i got straight on personally attacked.....the weapon of the ones without argument

you dont like my pov, i dont like yours.......i dont insult anybody because of it.......

Totally agree!!  It’s just our Amerigance showing its ugly head in this thread. It’s sickening and embarrassing to a true fan of the sport. Most American motocrossers have major jingoistic tendencies that have just gotten worse with our current political climate that only encourages it. Sad, I’ll get down voted but most normal people know……it just is what it is.

The best team according to anybody that knows anything about moto or has been paying attention to the sport of motocross. Do YOU not agree?  It almost sounds like you question that fact. Does it bother you how much better the Aussies are compared to every other country right now?

So you DO agree HRC has the best team. Your just having a hard time with the whole your only as fast as your last race concept of moto 😂 and must like stirring shit.  I get it.  Get used to it. I have a feeling one of the Hunter bros will be on a podium pretty much every race their in for the foreseeable future. I could be wrong but so far for the last 2 yrs not so much, huh?

According to everyone with half a brain.  Don't know if you noticed, but Honda HRC pretty much hogged all the AMA Championships to themselves in 2023.   They've got a hired Gun named Jett that just had the greatest rookie start in the premier class ever and if Paris is any indicator, his 450 Motocross skills are going to transfer to Supercross very nicely.  Team Honda is the BEST! team right now.

I think Hunter will not be upset if he's number 2, but will work his butt off to become #1, without pushing over his limit.

He seems very professional about it on the podium, and happy for his brother, but he's a racer, and as such, wants to win, just not at all costs.

If he has a better offer from another team, he'll have to weigh whether it's worth not having the family working so closely together.  Would their dad even be allowed to work with both Jett and Hunter if they're on different teams? Would either of the teams be worried about secrets being revealed to the other?

I'd love to see Hunter find Jett speed, stay on the same team, and for them to fight over wins each weekend (along with the other front runners).

No people like myself are just tired of the amount of hate towards America and American fans in these forums. America bashing shouldn’t be allowed here. Sadly it’s only going to get worse. It definitely is sickening….

We're not talking about what team was best 20 years ago, we're taking about the best team of 2023 going into 2024.    Best riders, best factory bikes and a solid team, Yes! Honda, they're the best team currently, Not the best for the last 19 years, but today they're holding all the cards.  I know the Truth! hurts, but like they say, Suck it up Buttercup, the Truth will set you free.

It's going to be a Talladega Nights situation, shake and bake. Eventually, Jett is going to pop and have a public meltdown in his underwear, then Hunter is going to be the man and bang Jett's wife and live in his mansion, calling him in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to work the volume on the TV.

Surprised nobody brought up Honda being ok with it , they have a history of making some questionable decisions regarding their racers.

Dudes a HRC fanboi, it's literally his screen name lol. We all know the 250 isn't even the 2nd best bike in the class. It's behind Star and PC. We'll see if Shimoda can overcome it like the brothers did last season.

….or will he want to jump to a team where he’s their number 1 guy?

Wait.... Do you mean to insinuate that there is a 'hierarchy', a 'totem pole' of sorts, among riders on a factory team? That the dynamics within the team are subject to change consequent to real or, even perceived, internal tensions? Surely you jest...

I'm just happy someone used the word "Jingoistic"  for the first time since the 1800's in of all places; a vital post.
