Okay boomer last one; You worked at Beta or KTM before? Because if you didn't, apparently you can't bring any info to the table on this subject, based on your "I have inside knowledge" jab.

First I’m gen Z, now I’m a boomer? Based off your reactions I’d say you’re (what do you people call it..) oh yeah TRIGGERED 😂. And to answer your question, yes

Looking forward to seeing a new brand on the gate at A1. Colt and Benny hopefully will do them well.

The black and red enduro model colors are much more pleasing to the eye but I guess they wanted to differentiate the motocross models. They had a tent displaying bikes at a race last weekend they look good and they are much more of a neon red/almost orange color.

RR-300-2Str-MY24-Black

The off-road Race Editions have the same color as the RX. The all red are the standard RR/RR-S Models.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

A lot of KTM hard parts are manufactured in Italy, so the Italian KTM parts vendors probably won't have to switch up too many castings to make Beta parts it appears...

If you use your own photo to compare the frames then the KTM would be a copy of this old beta wouldn’t it?

You guys say this shit every time a bike has a steel frame. Name another part that even looks similar to KTM

Does the radiator shroud plastics on this old beta not look similar to the husaberg and 2014/15 husqvarna? Pretty crazy the overlap and evolution of parts between the models. Yes i understand the engines are made in house and had some extreme evolution over the last few years. But to say that the current beta frame has nothing to do with last gen ktm is outrageous

Just because a manufacturer gets there frames from the same supplier does not mean they are the same.

So what does the Beta frame have to do with the last-gen KTM frame then? Are you aware Beta has had their own linkage frame since at least 2005? That’s back when KTM was still strictly on PDS. So where are the similarities and who copied who?

IMG 0086 1IMG 0088Similar design but the same could be said about some of the Japanese bikes.  I own a 22 Beta 300rx and a 22 Fc350. Have had both of them stripped to the frame and aside from both being steel they are not the same. The only parts that swap over are front wheels.

Having the choice now to get a steel framed bike that comes with kyb suspension is great for the consumer. There really is something for everyone now.

Yeah ill agree that they look very similar but that’s like saying every brand that went to an aluminum frame after 97 is a Honda. Did they take a KTM frame and build off of that? Maybe. I bet they have very different flex characteristics. We know that just changing engine mount material can change the way a frame flexes (well I can’t cause i suck) but you get the point.

I don’t believe that’s the new beta 450 frame, would be shocked if there was a picture of it on ebay

Link to the article of Beta's first ever in-house engine 2010. First model Based KTM RFS engine, designed to be more compact. The engines were never as powerful as the KTM, to this day they are not. But the current engine to this day still shares some lineage to the older KTM RFS

Can you imagine the outrage if I said the frames were different. 1,000 blue haired freaks jump out from all corners of the internet "all frames are created equal, all bikes are inherently the same from birth."

Wasn’t saying you were wrong. It’s a slow day at work so i feel like BSing. I’m just tired of people (and you didn’t say this) that oh it’s a red KTM or it’s just a black KTM. Everyone had to copy a little of what they did to stay with the times. Aside from Yamaha which I’m sure is coming and Suzuki everyone else went To hydraulic clutch. Estart is standard on everything except Suzuki. Not here to argue. Just talking moto.

Beta, old gas gas (rieju), and even sherco off road bikes all looked eerily similar to KTM's in recent years. Different color KTM's, no. But its hard to argue that these brands weren't manufactured with eyes on a ktm

Isn't outrage what you are going for?

Or do you truly believe the unbelievably stupid shit you've been posting?

It is completely different now. The two companies have nothing to do with each other.

I'm not sure I would go that far. They Beta uses a lot of OG ktm parts (i.e. Domino throttle.)

There's also clearly a lot of influence from KTM in the engine, chassis, and frame. Yes its made in its own factory now, but I would think about this relationship similar to the Kawasaki/Suzuki relationship of the 2000's. Yes they have separated completely but still that history of sharing parts/production

The fuel and air go in, bidda bang, the air come out, put, put, put.

See the same.

Think the bike looks great and Benny looks like he is very comfortable on it. KYB is a big plus!!!!!! Not a copy of a KTM.
